I have seen these on the I ternet and tv but never thought I'd have the opportunity to try one myself. My family and I went to Dante to enjoy breakfast and were delighted by the beautiful decor and service. Christmas is in full force there! While perusing to menu we came across the bloody Mary for two which included lobster claws, sliders, bacon and a bunch of other yummy things. I had to have it! The very generous sized drink they brought out did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and delicious. I may get one to myself next time :)

This is a an outstanding hotel. There is a terrific, attentive staff, beautiful grounds, luxurious spa and mineral pools, good quality in-room dining. This is the place to go if you really want to be taken care of.

Nice spa and restaurant. Hotel is a bit dated and guests should know there is no elevator. Not good for those staying on the 3rd floor with heavy luggage and a bad knee ;). Restaurant was superb, just a bit dated. Room was clean but dated and bed was not that comfy. I enjoyed the bottle of water next to my bed after all that wine tasting! My masseuse was excellent at the spa. They shower experience in the spa was a bit hokey but loved the salt scrub and other rituals. The outdoor pools were dreamy.

Stayed here immediate after the Sonoma Wildfires. I was there on business to assist with the recovery effort. Even though I wasn’t there to relax and bash in luxury, I was treated as if I was by the staff. The rooms were in excellent condition, clean and cozy. There was a bottle of local wine to greet me in my room. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Turn down service offered every night with a fresh bottle of water. The amenities were obviously top notch, although I did not get to utilize them during my trip. Valet services were offered as expected. The restaurant offered only a tiny selection, but it was good food nonetheless. My only criticism of the resort is that there are no elevators so if you are physically challenged, you will still be required to climb stairs. This does not detract from a 5 star rating in my opinion. Still a great resort.

The Fairmont is such a great hotel, it can be a romantic getaway hotel, a girls' weekend destination or a family vacation spot. It feels perfect for any of those things. We had a Mission Suite, ground floor with a lovely patio overlooking a fountain. The suite is spacious with a big tub and a four poster bed. The restaurant, Sante, is divine. Terrific wine list and the duck was incredible, I highly recommend it. There's luxury SUV's to take you to the plaza too and in our case they took us to a winery where we were meeting friends, the driver was so helpful and friendly. A couple quibbles: the art is really awkwardly placed (see pic) and for a pricey suite the artwork really should not be an afterthought. Also the toilet room has very little privacy with a shutter type door and no fan. More privacy I think is always better when you're sharing close quarters for a weekend.
