Form the moment we arrived, it was clear we has arrived at a special place . Our room was picturesque and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Fresh flowers throughout the room and a very comfortable bed. We were a bit warm (No AC except for the beach rooms) and when we told the manager, they were incredibly accommodating and offered us a room with AC and also offered us an amazing , large , breezy room which had 2 decks and panoramic views. It was clear that the employees wanted to make sure we were happy and went above and beyond! Room 7-E was heavenly. ( and breezy) Jenelle, Monica, Ryan, Jovan, John Paul , Junior and everyone else at this resort was fabulous and really made our stay special. The food was truly gourmet and there were so many extraordinary touches- mid-morning butlered fruit skewers on the beach, late afternoon cold lemongrass towels and eucalyptus spritzer by smiling faced Junior. The snorkeling off of the beach was incredible. The only caveat is that the beauty of this place is partially due to the fact that it is set on a hillside , which means many, many steps. However , there are frequent shuttles for those who do not wish to walk. Overall , this is a memorable spot and we will be back!

We arrived for a three night stay and were pleasantly surprised by the charming hillside resort. The entire staff is welcoming and never pass you without a big smile and hello making yo feel part of their family. The room we had was a superior room with large sitting room open to the outside and contained fridge, coffee maker, bottled water, samples of rum and banana bread. There are no windows, either open view or louvres. No a/c but that was not a problem because the evenings cooled off and there were many ceiling fans and netting around the comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had double sinks and a rain shower. The beach staff was terrific and helped with kayaking and sailing. we were pampered with cool spearmint scented towel on the beach as well as skewers of fruit and ices. When you wanted a drink, you would put your flag behind your pallapa and the server would appear. The snorkeling was terrific and you just had to walk off the beach to see many varieties of fish on the corral. The equipment is right there and staff very pleasant no matter how many times you went. They offered walks and excursions but we wanted to relax and enjoy our 49th anniversary. We had an enchanted experience and are planning to return. The only caveat is that there are many steps since it is a hillside resort. Shuttles are available. Walking the steps was a great way to exercise after eating the delicious food available. The Treehouse restaurant had a variety of excellently prepared dishes but we were blown away by the Apsara on the beach restaurant. It had a blend of Caribbean and East Indian foods that were authenticly prepared with flavors that made us smile throughout the meals. And of course the service there and everywhere in the resort was fabulous.

We went to Anse Chastanet and immediately met great people. The locals here are super nice. We easily rented chairs under a frond hut. We snorkeled , then waded in the warm water, we sunbathed for a bit before going to lunch at Jungle Reef. The food was really delicious. Fantastic day.

We came for our 30th wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time. We bought the "total romance" package and ended up do all the things that were included. We stayed in the beach house. Unbelievable spot we will definitely come back.

From the room, to the private beach, the hiking, to the food and to the staff, Anse Chastanet was a wonderful vacation. We only have positive reviews and would recommend to anyone visiting St. Lucia! The climb to the room was well worth it everyday! I highly recommend the premium hillside room. Waking up the the Pitons and watching the sun set was phenomenal. We had the all inclusive package and it was spectacular. Food was amazing!
