About the Hotel

From silvery sands for sunset strolls, to entire walls opening onto the great outdoors, luxury is in the details at Anse Chastanet. The estate encompasses 600 lush tropical acres bordering two soft sand beaches. Not only do you get a World Heritage Site anchored by the twin peaks on land, the resort’s two crystal-clear bays are part of a designated marine reserve protecting miles of colorful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. A dozen rooms are tucked in behind the coconut palms that line the beach and the remainder tiptoe up a flower decked hillside. To make the most of the panoramic views and the refreshing tradewinds octagonal whitewashed cottages come with wraparound flower draped balconies and louvered windows. ANSE CHASTANET is St. Lucia's only resort property with the iconic view of both the Piti and Gros Piton mountains floating upon the Caribbean Sea. The location of the property is unsurpassed, a private estate of 600 lush tropical acres bordering two soft-sand Caribbean beaches with pristine coral reefs just offshore. The resort property includes the historical plantation of Anse Mamin and Emerald Estate where the resort grows its own organic produce.

With palm leafed beaches, great snorkelling and diving.  Amazing decor, and staff who can't do enough for you.  We had 5 nights in paradise.  From the extraordinary bathrooms, with their beautiful paintings to a discover the hotel tour with Peter, including learning about the amazing Architect and his family, to  Meno - "Father nature" telling us about all the plants and birds on his nature tours - you couldn't ask for more.  The "hidden" beach of Anse Marin - with the bar, and restaurant there was our favourite spot, under the palm palapas.  Plenty of exploring on your doorstep, Sulphur Hotsprings, botanical garden, Tet Paul, sunset/day yacht trips

Good Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

Good hotel, Clean, Quiet, good beaches with local snorkelling, Food and service good both in restaurants and on beaches. Rooms are mostly on a hill and 130 steps down to beach from reception level but hotel will provide a buggy if requested. Most rooms do not have air conditioning but do have ceiling and portable fans. Good entertainment in evening from local groups. Mosquito control practised with nets over beds and windows and weekly spraying in grounds. Good boat trips available.

Exceptional service, personal touch, unmatched views, serene atmoshere, and more!

Anse Chastanet Resort is the perfect location for a romantic couple's getaway. The atmosphere is serene and the views are unmatched! The rooms are all unique, and the staff will continue to surprise you with personal touches throughout your stay. If you are a foodie, you'll enjoy everything from their beautiful breakfast buffet to the cuisine in their restaurants. We particularly enjoyed a cooking class with Chef Shaun where he taught us about Indian spices, cooking a traditional fish curry, and using the tandoori oven. Throughout our stay, we were attended to by the most warm and kind staff including Zephrina and Shaunette in the Old Tree House Restaurant; Maliah at Ansparra; Sylvia and Rander providing beverage service at the beach; Junior, Sydney and Ricardo spreading love and happiness with their towel service and little extras at the beach each day. Lastly, Jonathan, Rajesh, and Peter at the reception/social desk took great care of us when our flights were cancelled due to weather. These are just a few of the people who made our trip special, but as you can see, they made such an impression on us! We'll be back again for our fourth visit next year! Oh, and if you can, take the helicopter ride to or from the airport, do it. The views were breathtaking!

My wife and I visited St. Lucia for the first time this February, and chose Anse Chastanet based on reviews we had read online. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The staff are all lovely to work with and care for your every request without hesitation. The setting is breathtaking... you have to see it to believe it. The food is excellent, not like a typical all-inclusive offering. The rooms have a unique "open air" vibe that is both relaxing and refreshing and the views are mind-blowing. The beach is wonderful and service is prompt and friendly while on the beach. The snorkeling available right off the beach is also fantastic and a must try. My only complaint with our experience is that it had to end. Thank you to the entire staff at Anse Chastanet for an incredible experience!

Stay at Serenity Coconut Bay instead

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Pretty much awful. There is not a paved road up the hill to Anse or Jade so it’s a brutal ride. Last 2 miles took 80 minutes one way cause we were stuck behind a delivery truck. No air conditioning and 3 out of 4 fans in our room were not working and were not fixed nor replaced for 2 days. Toilet was not working. Instead of sending maintenance when I called I was given instructions and became the handyman. The views are beautiful and the excursions were great but it’s a terrible stuffy overall experience. We found a remote spot on beautiful Mamin beach and were playing music and a curmudgeon guest snapped at us. We wound up spending the last 6 days after 4 at Anse at Serenity at Coconut Bay which was perfect in every way possibly the best resort we have eve stayed at. We will be back every year to Serenity. 5 nights there cost considerably less than 3 nights at Anse. Also Anse had up charges on lobster steak etc and premium liquor as well as a full bill every thing or eat or drink which is confusion all the time. None of that at Serenity. I would not recommend Anse Chastonet at all.

“Great service, authentic island feel, perfect spot for snorkeling (guests from other hotels come here to snorkel and dive), & Anse Mamin has the best burger ever!”

We traveled to St. Lucia and stayed at Anse Chasanet - it was wonderful. Our suite, built on a mountain, was completely open yet very private. There were no phones or TVs to distract from the area's true beauty. It truly made our honeymoon more memorable. I would highly recommend Anse Chasanet to all future honeymooners!
