AMAZING: Better than we ever imagined
Truly a unique experience. Felt like we were royalty living in medieval times in a medieval castle,..only with modern conveniences. The staff was very professional and attentive. We stayed in the Mary Queen of Scots room and loved every minute of it. Fortunately, we stayed when the weather was cool. I'm not quite sure how comfortable the rooms would be during the heat of summer as there was only a fan and no visible A/C. That said,... in May,... it was perfect. Very cool history with King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn having honeymooned there for 10 days. Highly recommend.

What can I say?. The property, the staff, the food and drink, were all brilliant. The hotel and grounds are kept immaculate. Superb setting and service
It’s not the easiest location to access, but it’s more central and accessible than many other historic estate homes we researched. Regardless, it’s a gorgeous setting brimming with history, elegance, and excellent service.
