Our stay at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort was truly special, and it is difficult to put into words how grateful we are for the experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and genuinely at home. The beautiful surroundings were wonderful, but it was the people who made our stay truly unforgettable. A very special thank you to Petra, the manager, for her warmth, kindness, and thoughtful attention throughout our stay. She made sure that everything was taken care of and always made us feel like family. Her genuine care and hospitality meant so much to us. Kabir, the chef, deserves a very special mention as well. The food was absolutely amazing, and every meal felt like it was prepared with genuine passion and care. We enjoyed every dish and will certainly remember the wonderful meals we shared during our stay. And to Kadir, our host, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your hospitality, kindness, and generosity made us feel like we were visiting family rather than staying at a resort. You went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable and happy, and those personal touches are what made this experience so meaningful. We came as guests, but we left with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the people who made our stay so special. Petra, Kabir, and Kadir — thank you for everything. Your kindness and hospitality will stay with us, and we truly hope to return again soon. With heartfelt gratitude, thank you for giving our family such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. ❤️

Went with wife and 2 kids (5 and 20 months). We were worried about taking the kids and sharing a villa but it all worked out really well! The best part of the experience for me wasnt the luxurious beaches and opulent food available. It was the staff. Just incredible. - You're assigned a villa host, in our case a lovely lovely chap called Simah. Any issues, you just Whatsapp him. Examples of issues Simah solved for us: 1) Lost my bike - He found it within the day 2) Wife lost her bike lol - He found it within the day 3) My bike needed a baby seat - solved it within the hour 4) Wife was worried her phone had dropped out of her pocket - checked 6 locations we had been to and then went to the villa and reassured us it was left on the ironing board. Anyway, shout out to Simah, he really helped make the trip for us. - Each restaurant has a manager type personnel. They are such lovely hosts. 1) Priyantha at the picnic island where you go snorkeling. Remembered our names and all our kids names, took the time to get to know us and build a relationship with the kids. Lovely guy. 2) Manager at Aqua Pool and Restaurant - Ravi - Same as above, continuously went out of his way to esnure the kids had food they were happy with, noticed that we kept going to the bar to ask for milk for our 20 month old, so offered us a full carton we can store in our fridge in the villa so we arent inconvenienced. Overall, it was a lovely experience, the bikes, the snorkeling, the kids club, the food, the views, the meet and greet evening so guests and staff can get to know each other over drinks. 10/10 Thank you !

Our second visit to Anantara Dhigu Maldives, and once again, it exceeded all expectations! In fact, we came back especially because of our amazing host, Kadir — and he was just as incredible the second time around. Kadir is truly one of a kind. He made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday, and even with very short notice, he arranged a beautiful cake and decorated our villa. He also organized a jet ski experience and spa treatments for my husband and me, and every evening he took care of our dinner reservations. He made everything so easy and stress-free. Most importantly, our kids absolutely adored Kadir! They felt so loved and cared for, and they are already asking when we can come back — largely because of him. That says everything! We also want to give a special shoutout to Petra, who greeted us every morning with a warm smile and always took the time to check in and make sure everything was okay. Those little personal touches made us feel so welcomed and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. And the resort itself… WOW! 🏝️ The pictures simply do not do justice to the incredible color of the water. You have to see it in person to understand how breathtakingly beautiful it is. It truly feels like paradise. The food was fantastic as well, and a special shoutout to Chef Kabir! His cooking reminded us of home and was absolutely delicious. Anantara Dhigu is a true five-star resort with five-star service, but what makes it truly special is the people. Kadir, Petra, Chef Kabir, and the entire team made our family’s experience unforgettable. Thank you, Kadir, Petra, Chef Kabir, and the entire Anantara Dhigu team for taking such wonderful care of our family. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

We stayed for three nights at Anantara Dhigu and had a truly enjoyable and memorable time. Our only wish is that our holiday could have been a little longer—it went by far too quickly! We would especially like to thank our host, Kadir, who was extremely helpful, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay. His warm hospitality made our experience even more special. A big thank you as well to Faruk, our room cleaner, for taking such good care of our villa and keeping everything clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to return to Anantara Dhigu again in the future.

We have been to the Maldives 5 times previously but this was our first at an Anantara property & importantly our first with our 3 young children. It started with a major hiccup even before we arrived at the resort when Anantara reservations messed up our original reservations & we had to stay the first night in another villa not of our choice! However, from our arrival, the team’s genuine sincereness put us at ease & we thoroughly enjoyed our entire vacation throughout the 5 days at the resort. I say genuine sincereness as we had my baby having allergies which was quickly responded by our villa host, Simah, & kept us comfortable that help was just a call away. I’m a cancer survivor & at all restaurants, the chefs went out of their way to curate dishes suitable for my diet. And the water sports team, Aquafanatics went all out to ensure our kids were able to snorkel with the turtles, stingrays & nurse sharks. Special shoutout to our host Simah, chef Burhan at Fushi cafe & Jazlaan at Aquafanatics! A memorable family vacation & we will be back in the future! The Anantara’s team sincere hospitality makes the difference!
