Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa

We’ve just finished an absolutely fantastic stay at Anantara Dhigu, and the whole experience was genuinely five-star from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, but what really made our stay special was the level of service and hospitality from the team. Everyone we came across was warm, welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were looked after. A special thank you to Kadir, Thess, Amal, Maif, Manoj and Augustina, who each looked after us at different parts of our stay. Every one of them played a part in making our holiday so enjoyable and memorable. Their friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. The food, facilities, surroundings and overall atmosphere were excellent, and everything felt very well organised while still being relaxed. It’s exactly what you would expect from a true five-star Maldives resort. We travelled as a family and came away with some amazing memories. Anantara Dhigu has definitely left a lasting impression on us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you to the entire team for such a brilliant stay. We returned for our second visit to Dhigu with our 8 and 6 year old daughters after an incredible trip in 2025. We returned because we were so impressed by our experience last year; the accommodation, the F&B, staff, facilities and staff are all first class and all service was delivered with a big smile and a genuinely friendly attitude. It’s clear that the staff are very well trained but more importantly perhaps, the resort has hired staff members who have exactly the right personalities to fulfil their roles. They’re friendly without being invasive, they all knew how to add small touches to entertain our children and we didn’t experience a single misunderstanding or miscommunication. The whole resort is exceptional and having the ability to hop on a pontoon boat to head to neighbouring islands is a huge bonus. The variety of restaurants is perfectly judges and even after another fortnights stay, we never got bored of the dinning options. The hotel listened to feedback from guests last year and the menu at Aqua this year was much improved. There are too many team members to mention but in the restaurants we were really looked after by Hanu, George, Rippe and Hassan, amongst so many others. These guys were all an absolute pleasure to be with. Our butler, Simah, was also excellent and a delight to interact with. When my wife was unwell, he did everything he could to help us out and he did so perfectly. We also used Aqua Fanatics quite a bit and again, their team was exceptional. Both Betty and Lugo were wonderful scuba instructors and both have very caring, reassuring natures. Gabriel couldn’t have done better helping our 8 year old with her first Bubblemaker dives. Lugo also helped us with dolphin spotting, fishing and the longer distance snorkelling activities - he always went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time and we can’t thank him enough. We will absolutely be back, this resort has it all and we enjoyed every single minute.

The hotel and rooms were really clean. All the staff members were polite and always willing to help especially Simah Who assisted us.

We have experienced a wonderful journey and wish to come back again. Akobir has provided strong support during our stay by given changing situation and mind. He has shown his profession and ensure all the activities and schedule has been planned as we wished.

Nice place for holiday in Maldives. Just 30 minutes by boat from Male airport. Wonderful ocean, comfortable infrastructure, caring and pleasant staff (Special thanks to Mr. Ram). As a recommendation- it would be fine to renovate the bikes` park and adjust a little bit the menu for dinner in the main restaurant.
