Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa

It was our much looked forward family holiday for the year, and we were so happy that we returned to Anantara Dhigu Maldives for the 4th time! It felt like coming home. The beautiful resort and paradise like nature is about 20- 30 minutes away from the airport which made coming here a breeze after the long flight. The special welcome with the drum play, warm smiles and cold fresh coconuts at our arrival deck was all we needed to start our relaxing vacation. They know how to make the guests feel relaxed almost immediately upon arrival! We stayed in the cozy pool villa with the turquoise ocean at our doorstep and then moved to the luxurious ocean pool villa for the rest of the days. The rooms are photo op perfect and kept very clean which we appreciate very much. Thank you so much to the hardworking housekeeping team for all that they do. There are a few people who made our holiday memorable. Special thank you to Mr. Kadir who was just a message away, attending to all our needs and requests, making every dinner bookings smooth and all our questions clearly answered and for being our trusted villa host. We felt stress free and worry free as Mr. Kadir handled our requests professionally, making sure we are truly relaxed. The holiday will not be complete without the awesome Dhoni Kids Club. Our two girls spent long hours there. Meeting other kids to play with and enjoying the fun art and craft, games and just chilling with staffs. Special thanks to Thess, Pawani, Neeza and Muhammad- our girls' friends. You remembered them and played with them, they enjoyed your company and we appreciate all that you do to make our girls feel loved! The restaurants we dined in were amazing. The chefs and their teams do such a great job in executing such delicious, variety, healthy and high quality dishes leaving us so spoilt and extremely happily full! Special thank you to Chef Govind, his dishes reminded me of home sweet home. He goes out and beyond to serve you the best Indian meals with that authentic yummy taste always with a smile. Each meal I had proved Chef Govind to be an expert- I asked him how I can cook better too. He kindly shared some tips and happy to share his knowledge. I really appreciate that. Chef Tamir widened my palate to Arabic food and I was blown away. I enjoyed each dishes he recommended and made, they were so delicious. He always check our feedback and wanting to do better when he is already such a good chef! Well done Chef! Coming for breakfast and meals at Fushi is so pleasant, we were welcomed with a warm smile and attended to, so well, we felt so good. Thank you Mr. Shan, Mr. Porgus, Mr. George, Mr. Amir, Ms. Rashfa and Chef Tonfern. We appreciate all that you do to make our dining experience relaxed and happy. A very very big special thank you to Mr. Ramu from Aqua restaurant! He is the example of high quality hospitality and elevating guests experience. Our girls love dining in Aqua because of him besides the yummy Italian food. He is very kind, welcoming, caring and tries each time to make us happy and enjoy our dining experience. Keep up your excellent work Mr. Ramu! We enjoyed and learnt a lot about Marine life and loved our in house coral snorkelling trip with the Marine Biologist Ms. Ory. She is truly a compassionate person both towards Marine life and the guests. Thank you for taking one of our girls under your wings and making the snorkelling experience wonderful for her. She enjoyed learning from you!!! Our girls enjoyed their first surfing lesson with Micah and Courtney. It was a blast! The girls enjoyed it so much and we appreciate your kindness and enthusiasm in conducting the lessons. We loved each and every day spent in Anantara Dhigu Maldives and already hoping to be back next year for another weeks of most enjoyable holiday! The warm send off, the wave good bye and the heart emoji from the staffs at the deck till our boat rode off, it will stay with us and reminds us of our wonderful times in Anantara Dhigu Maldives. Keep up your great job team and we appreciate all that you do!

We had a wonderful stay at Anantara Dhigu and truly enjoyed every moment of our time there. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and very well organized. The housekeeping service was excellent, and our villa was always clean and comfortable. The sea around the resort is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and beautiful surroundings. Since the resort is relatively small, around 800 meters, everything feels peaceful, cozy, and easy to access. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent personal butler service. Abdulqadir was a very respectful, kind, and helpful person. He was always available to answer all our questions quickly and went above and beyond to arrange anything we needed during our stay. His service made our experience even more comfortable and enjoyable. The food at the resort’s restaurant was delicious. The Egyptian chef in charge was very respectful and accommodating, and he was happy to prepare special dishes according to our preferences. His main concern was always making sure that we enjoyed the food, and everything we tried was delicious. There are also other restaurants available at the sister resort, Anantara Veli, which gives guests even more dining options. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and enjoyed every minute at this beautiful resort. We truly appreciated the excellent service, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and warm hospitality. We would definitely love to come back again and highly recommend Anantara Dhigu for a memorable stay.

He truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and memorable. We really appreciate everything he did for us!

Its our 4th time here. Absolutely blown away each time. Children love it, we love it. Villas ( overwater with pool for us) are impeccable, stylish and more than what you could expect. Member recognition is everytime touching and really beneficial Big thanks for the manage David, who took care of us so well, Mr. Kadir, who takes care of any need we have since years, Mr Govind Kaisarla for the great service and amazing feel-at-home indian cuisine, and Mr Ramu from Aqua for being such a kind friend to my kids, making their dinner special each time.

good location, near to airport, 45min ferry can get. nice staff, timely response, get us gustone when knew we were sunburned. staff Ram is really nice. good room, big clean private and quiet. frequent house keeping. many activities. nice experience.
