Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa

From the moment we arrived at Malé airport, our experience at Anantara Maldives was flawless. The staff greeted us warmly, escorted us through the lounge, and ensured the speedboat transfer was comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. We were welcomed on the island with drums and our amazing butler, Ram, who even created a memorable birthday celebration for my wife. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable, with daily attention from the room attendant (whose name we unfortunately don’t remember). Every meal was exceptional: Fushi Cafe quickly became our favorite for its abundant and delicious breakfasts and dinners; the Arabian Cornish and other fresh breakfast options were amazing. Dinners at the resort impressed us with their variety, presentation, and desserts that were almost mesmerizing. Special mentions to Lym, who took care of us during meals, sharing knowledge about Maldivian cuisine and making excellent recommendations. At Dhoni Bar and the Tiki Bar, the cocktails were outstanding and evenings with live music were perfect for relaxing. The spa experience was incredibly relaxing, and every staff member showed remarkable attentiveness, remembering our preferences and making us feel truly valued. During departure, the entire team waved us off until we disappeared on the horizon, leaving a touching final memory. If we return to the Maldives, we would definitely choose Anantara again. Exceptional service, luxurious rooms, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences made our stay truly perfect.

Everybody knows that the Maldive Islands are a paradise! But what we have experienced at Anantara Dighu resort exceeded our highest expectations! Not only are the rooms and the entire resort breathtakingly beautiful, but mainly the kind of welcome one feels literally every second there is outstanding! The location is ideal for those who seek a rapid transport by speed boat from the airport, it takes 35 minutes and by arrival the welcome is unique, a group of the staff awaits you with music and take care of you from the first moment! Food options are great and versatile, and also facing some problems with our neighbours was handled calmly by the staff of the resort! A special thanks to Maazin, who was available the entire stay also via whatsapp and helped out with any wish! We have experienced quite some 5-star- hotels around the world, but this one would deserve at least one or two stars more!! Highly recommended!!

We loved the atmosphere at Anantara Dighu Maldives Resort. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, and the island was large enough for nice walks or bike rides around the resort. The people were wonderful, friendly, and always welcoming. Ram took great care of us at all times and helped with everything we needed – a big thank you to him. The girls at Fushi Bar and Lynn were such pleasant company during breakfast and dinner. The coconut guy was also incredibly kind, and his coconuts were very refreshing. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily come back again with all our family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anantara Dhigu. Beautiful property, peaceful setting, and truly top-notch service throughout. One of us has an important food allergy, and every restaurant—both on the island and at the adjacent properties—handled it with great care and attention, which we deeply appreciated. We stayed in an overwater villa with a private pool, and it was exceptional. The setting is stunning, the villas are beautifully done, and the attention to detail across the property is excellent. Sunrises and sunsets were both unforgettable. A special thank you to Kadir, our host, who was outstanding throughout our stay. We also learned to scuba dive for the first time with Mustapha, who was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive—an unforgettable experience. Housekeeping and the broader team were fantastic: thoughtful, courteous, and consistently warm. This was a very special anniversary trip for us, and we left feeling happy, relaxed, and deeply grateful for such a memorable stay.

Wow! Anantara Dhigu and Veli is a piece of paradise. The Islands are so beautiful , the water is crystal clear and the staff is wonderful! It has been the best 5 days of my life. I cant recommend this place enough! The food and drinks Are amazing and the overwater villa was just a dream. Thank you to our Villa host Saajid for being the best host. He helped us with everything and is so nice. Also thank you to Omar who always made sure that our villa was spotless clean and cosy. I will definetly come back and everybody should choose Anantara Dhigu if traveling to a resort in the Maldives 👌
