Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa

It was not the ever-changing shades of blue of the sea, but the constant warmth of many, many staff members that filled my memories of the Maldives. From Chopey, a "Villa Host" who is just a call away; Ramu at Aqua who remembers your 'dining rituals'; Midun, a mighty boxing coach with a heart of a teddy bear's; to Xavier, the "Beach Guru" who has the best stories to tell... Every face is a memory. As I waved back on the boat at the send-off team with their torch lights flashing in the dark, rainy night, I shed a tear.

It was our 6th time on Maldives but the first time with our 2-year old daughter - we were positively surprised how well everything went, the very high level of service and that personnel made our stay so easy and enjoyable! We will definitely come back to this paradise island! :)

It's our 4th time in Maldives and our first time staying at Anantara Dhigu. We definitely made the right choice! Thank you to our villa host, Ram for always assisting us with our request. Thank you also to staff at the Dhoni Kids Club (which i forgot their names) who made my kids days at Anantara a fun one. The staff at Fushi Cafe, Amir, to name a few for their services and kindness. If you ever go to Anantara, please find the beach guru aka the coconut guy. He sells fresh coconut and it surely taste different in Maldives. Pro tips : the halfboard package is definitely worth it. We love Cumin restaurant! Thank you again Anantara for a memorable stay! My kids can't wait to go back!

This was our second time at the resort and it once again exceeded all our expectations. The beach was beautiful, quiet, very private, and the whole island had a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere with no noise. Everything from the rooms to the surroundings was spotless and very well maintained. Our personal host Chopey was exceptional. He gave us a tour of the island, checked us into our villa, booked activities and dinners for us and was always available and attentive. Truly kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. We stayed in a sunset beach villa, which was spacious, very clean, and beautifully designed. The bathroom was stunning and we loved the thoughtful details like yoga mats, beach bags, a terrace swing, and the bikes provided for getting around. When we arrived, we were welcomed back with desserts and a bottle of champagne. The wellness activities were great, the restaurants were all excellent, and breakfast at Fushi Café offered a fantastic variety of food. A special thanks to Rufiq who saw us walking back to our villa from the beach when it started to rain and kindly picked us up with a buggy and was always very kind and helpful. We would also like to express our appreciation to Ibrahim Shareef and Shafradh for their excellent work in cleaning our villa. All staff were polite, friendly, and genuinely kind. The service, privacy, and peaceful atmosphere made our stay perfect. We will definitely come back again. We already miss you!

We had a great experience in Anantara Dhigu Resort. Our positive experiences started with direct booking on their website. April, the reservation agent, understood our needs very well and responded specifically to our requirements. On arrival, we found the resort had pristine beaches that were clean and well maintained. Chopey, our Villa host at the resort was cheerful and helpful. He introduced us very well to the amenities in the property and in our villa. He coordinated all our activities like snorkelling, excursions and dinner reservations. He made our stay a very pleasant experience for us. Food choices for vegetarians are many. Ramu and Tej at Aqua made good recommendations for lunch and also shared useful information on various events. Fushi cafe had a wonderful variety for BF. Govind Kaisarla, prepared mouth watering Upma and roasted Dosas to perfection. Priyantha and Manoj were also helpful in showcasing the vegetarian options. Everyone at Fushi cafe were very responsive to specific requests at Breakfast. Cumin had wonderful vegetarian South Asian Cuisine. Tariq helped a lot in choosing the right options for us. Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable experience.
