From the moment we were greeted by an enthusiastic display of Dolphin gymnastics on route to the island, to the warm, drum accompanied welcome by the smiling staff on the Jetty, our first holiday with our 9 month old baby is one we will never forget! Our villa host (and new friend) was the lovely Elizaveta. Liza was kind and helpful throughout ensured that we had the most comfortable stay as possible, arranged all of our dinners, was our personal buggy driver and (in collaboration with the excellent F&B director Pankaj) helped surprise my wife with an excellent bespoke meal delivered on her birthday. I’m not normally a big fan of breakfast buffets but the breakfast at the Fushi Cafe was excellent, varied choices and great service especially by Auyesha, George, Amir and Chef Manoj. We stayed at the Sunset Beach villa 56, being seconds away from the soft white sands, crystal clear waters and beautiful sunsets was magical. The resort has a perfect relaxed vibe and effortlessly manages to cater for both couples and families alike. The Spa facilities are first class and my wife almost fell asleep during the massage as it was so relaxing! Aqua bar, with the excellent Ramu in charge, was our go to for small bites and drinks at lunch and this turned into a classy Italian restaurant for dinner. The Wednesday sunset welcome drinks and canapés on the beach are a great idea, you get to mix with the staff aswell as get to know other guests. With a host of activities, an adult only island minutes away (where dinner with children can be booked) and breathtaking views all around, Anantara Dhigu has it all covered! We stayed at Anantara Dhigu for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Special mention for our villa host Ram who was always there to assist us and managed all our requests promptly and with a smile. We stayed in a water villa which was lovely and well designed. The best restaurant on the property is the Thai restaurant.

The staff here are friendly, the lake is beautiful, and I’ve been very happy every day. The housekeeper, RAM, is excellent and very attentive. I would definitely come back and visit again if I had the chance.
