We have been to the Maldives eleven times, and Anantara Dhigu was honestly one of our best experiences ever. The location is a huge plus. You can reach the resort very easily by speedboat from Malé, so you don’t lose time waiting for a seaplane after your international flight. The same goes for the way back: you can leave the resort quite close to your flight departure, which means more time enjoying your last day. We stayed for eight nights, from August 15th to 23rd. We originally had a Beach Villa, but when we arrived we realized that it was facing the staff island and we didn’t really love the view. We asked if there was any possibility of changing villa and they were incredibly helpful and moved us to a beautiful Water Villa. We absolutely loved it. A special thank you to Akobir, our Villa Host, who was amazing from the beginning until the end of our stay. He was always there when we needed something and made sure that every detail of our holiday was taken care of. The island itself is beautiful. The lagoon is incredible, with endless crystal-clear turquoise water, but you also have a very nice house reef for snorkeling, so you really get both. We also did some diving and had a great experience. The dive center was excellent and everything was very well organized. The food was also very good, with plenty of choice and different restaurants, so even after eight nights we always had something different to try. We travelled with our eight-year-old daughter and really enjoyed the resort as a family. It was relaxing for us and at the same time there was plenty for her to enjoy. After eleven visits to the Maldives, we have seen many beautiful resorts and islands, but Anantara Dhigu really stood out for us. Beautiful island, amazing water, great food and, most importantly, wonderful people. We can absolutely recommend it and would definitely come back.

This is our second time to Anantara Dhigu Maldives (we came last year again)and our vacation was again perfect !! It feels like home here but better, and all of this because of Kadir !! All the staff are very nice and gentle but Kadir has a special place in our heart ! Thank you so much for the unforgettable and wonderful memories ❤️

We were assigned Sandi as our resort host. She is from Myanmar and speaks excellent Chinese, which made our communication incredibly smooth. The lagoon at Anantara Dhigu is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed wonderful weather throughout our stay, and the whole family had an amazing time. The food across the restaurants is fantastic, with very authentic‑tasting Thai cuisine. Our children loved the Aqua Restaurant the most.

Our stay at Anantara Dhigu Maldives was truly wonderful from beginning to end. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and our villa was lovely, comfortable, and well maintained. What impressed us most was the excellent service. Everything was fast, smooth, and very well organized. The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the spa experience, the kids’ activities, and our ride on the glass-bottom boat. A special thank you to **Sandi**, who took great care of us throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and thoughtful in organizing our daily schedule and making sure everything suited our family. Her attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, it was a beautiful family experience, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We would happily return to Anantara Dhigu Maldives and highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and well-organized holiday in the Maldives.
