Naladhu Private Island Maldives

I’ll admit, I was hesitant to write this review. Naladhu is such a private, intimate place for me—it feels like my own personal sanctuary, and there’s a part of me that wants to keep it all to myself. My family and I return here every year. We’ve become completely captivated by this unique island; the mere mention of its name sparks an overwhelming urge to pack our bags and head to the airport immediately. The reason is simple: at Naladhu, you don’t just feel like a guest receiving "special treatment"—you feel like a member of the family. You become part of the island itself, where every request and personal preference is not only noticed but warmly embraced. It starts from the moment you step off the pier in Malé onto a comfortable, high-speed boat. The crew is incredibly attentive, monitoring your well-being throughout the 30-minute crossing. If there’s any marine life worth seeing along the way, the captain will slow down so you can enjoy dolphins playing in the surf, or adjust the pace to ensure the wake from passing boats doesn't disrupt your comfort. Upon arrival, you’re greeted with rose petals and a personal welcome from the General Manager and your dedicated butler (kuwaanu). By the next day, the entire staff will know your name and all your preferences. The "no menu" concept isn't just a marketing gimmick; it’s the genuine fulfillment of your every culinary whim. There is truly nothing their renowned chef can’t prepare. Dining at The Living Room (the island’s main restaurant) is flawless. A glass of chilled champagne in the morning sets the perfect tone, and the wine list would be the envy of any top-tier restaurant. Whether it’s black caviar for dinner accompanied by the freshest oysters and lobster, or a perfectly executed Beef Wellington and Tomahawk steak for the meat lovers—everything is world-class. And remarkably, this is all included in the Half Board (HB) package. Beyond the food, there’s diving with a professional team, snorkeling, fishing—essentially anything your heart desires. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! To truly understand the soul of this resort, you simply have to experience it for yourself. I want to give my highest compliments to the entire island team. From collection at the airport through to departure at the airport, this island offers impeccable service. It is small, personal and beautiful. For the second time we chose an ocean bungalow as we love the uninterrupted views of the sea from all aspects of the roomy accommodation. The pool can be chillier than expected but with your own space on the lagoon side, beautiful clear waters and a large pool to choose from, this really isn’t an issue. Breakfast is served all day long; no alarm clock, bliss. Food is wonderful and the chef can cater for any request. As a private island it never feels crowded or busy and should you wish to experience different restaurants or a busier environment you have the options to visit the other two sister islands. The overwater spa is a real treat with all our chosen treatments delivered by exceptional therapists. Evengiia for the second time running, ensured that all our bookings, requirements etc were met. Friendly, funny, professional and organised - one of the reasons we returned. Excellent restorative break. Fabulous view, great service and amazing choice of food. Transfer from airport to island was seamless. All staff extremely helpful. Great choice of restaurants and fabulous ocean views from our well appointed suite.

It's not the first time we've been on Naladhu as a family and it's the best island on Maldives There are beautiful all the villas overlooking the ocean, the territory of the island is green and well-groomed, the service is at the highest level, the kitchen is chic, the cook is a professional, I want to note the cleaning of the villas in particular Fala, the staff of the children's club, the child could not be picked up from the club. And special gratitude to our butler Evgenia • Was always in touch 24/7. She solved all the issues. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back

Our stay at Naladhu Private Island was nothing short of exceptional, an amazing time spent with the family. From the moment we arrived, everything felt deeply personal, calm, and effortlessly refined. Privacy, space, and attention to detail are everywhere. A very special mention must go to Achraf, the chef, whose cooking was simply outstanding, in particular a special meal he cooked for us. We would also like to thank Hatim, whose warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made a real difference to our experience.
