We had the best time at the Don! My bestie and I took our toddlers for a girls getaway and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Special shoutout to Nick who helped us with beach set up and was truly an absolute gem of a human. Tevin at the pool also slayed. It was SO nice to not to be able to set up the pool/ beach chairs. Katie & Maricela (sp?) made our pool beach days amazing with food and drink for both mama & toddlers. Also Denis is valet was so sweet and so patient espeically with getting toddllers in & out of carseats and meltdowns. Overall had an amazing stay!

3rd visit. The iconic Don is slowly changing . Modern decor is unnecessary. The pampered experience is marred by the staffs inability to keep areas tidy and on point. They are friendly and work hard but so do the staff at the holiday Inn I would imagine.

4 Great Days at The Don

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Just spent 4 last minute days at the Don. Hotel was great. Clean, beautiful beach, live music at the pool, nice lobby bar with music every night. The best part of the trip by far was Katie at the pool. Man that girl can hustle. Above First Class service and always with a smile. Every hotel needs one of her. She made our experience that much more memorable! Till next time.

Expensive rooms misreprested on web site and housekeep is rude, arrogant, and not provided befoe 5PM!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

It was one of the worst experiences at a supposed luxury hotel. Two nights for almost $3,000. Deluxe Junior Suite with King Balcony overlooking the city. The room was poorly laid out, and most spaces were wasted, so everything was cramped. Hit my knee on the couch every time I got out of bed. The toilets were so squeezed in that it was uncomfortable, and the paper roll was so close it always fell off. It was noisy from the room next door, making it difficult to sleep. The King Balcony was tine and overlooked the parking lot, not the city. Basically, the room was misrepresented to the point of being borderline fraudulent, so make sure you get what you are paid for. Our biggest problem was getting the room cleaned. When you are on vacation, you want to return to the expensive room, take a shower, and rest before going out. That's what you pay for. We couldn't get housekeeping to clean our room, and housekeeping told us angrily that they had no obligation to clean our rum before 5 PM. That's the type of service you get for $1,000 a night. Rude and irrespaonible. And there was food left from the same room service tray in the hallway for two days, just inviting rats, I guess.

Anniversary trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Arrived early and were welcomed with a glass of rosé. Service has been impeccable, so far! Hotel is beautiful and pool area is clean and relaxing! Food has also been very good. We haven’t had to leave the premises for anything. Beach and ocean are beautiful as well with a lot of amenities included. We were also welcomed with an anniversary card in our room-nice little touch.
