At Six

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had at your hotel. Before my arrival, I contacted the hotel and was clearly informed by the receptionist that my booking was confirmed and that my check-in was ready. Based on this confirmation, I proceeded with my trip. However, when I arrived at the hotel, after traveling from Sälen during a snowstorm, exhausted and stressed, I was informed that my booking had been canceled by Hotels.com and that I would need to make a new check-in. This was completely unexpected and contradictory to the information I had received earlier. I attempted to explain the situation and asked to speak with the staff member who had previously confirmed my booking, but this request was denied. I was simply told that the information I received was wrong, without any attempt to assist, clarify, or show empathy. The staff member assisting me was rude, showed no willingness to help, and did not display even basic courtesy. Standing there with multiple bags, tired from travel and weather conditions, I felt humiliated and extremely uncomfortable. Had I known that my booking was not valid, I would never have come to the hotel. This experience left a very negative impression, and I find it difficult to consider staying at your hotel again. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no guest should be treated this way.

The stay was perfect. The hotel is strategically located in the city center, the rooms are clean daily, and the interior design is excellent. The staff is very kind and available to assist with any requests. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for a few nights in a standard room near the lifts. Lobby was pretty, room clean, but overall the hotel was rather tired and in need of a spruce up. Our room had chips and dents in everything. There was a really annoying drilling-type noise all day which can only assume came from nearby lifts, but you could mostly hear it at night. But the most annoying thing was that the room was so dark. At one point, we needed to find a dark coloured item and we had to use a torch. In the daytime, with all the lights on. There was a row of spotlights over the desk that didn't seem to work but even with them it would have been dingy. The pillows were like half inflated balloons that wrapped round your face, and a mattress topper had been added to the bed that somehow made it even more uncomfortable. Overall great location and we loved the city but didn't think this hotel was worth the money.

Good location. Everything was fine except for cleanliness (very dusty) and lighting (not enough lights felt gloomy).
