Reviews for Lydmar Hotel
We really enjoyed staying in this hotel, service is great, they really try hard to make you feel like home! It is a dog friendly hotel and the receptionist who works there sometimes brings his little doggy to the reception. Her name is Doris and she is absolutely adorable! I really like the design of this hotel, makes you really feel like home and the bathroom is beautiful. The rooms are a bit small but you need to expect that being right in the centre of Stockholm. We ate at the hotel restaurant once and really enjoyed our dinner. Overall a great hotel with great service, spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel when visitng Stockholm.

Upscale boutique hotel, centrally located. Quiet rooms, great views, popular restaurant, close to arlanda express, gamma Stan and Strandvägen. Attentive staff.stayed there many Times’, always a great ezperience.
We stayed for four nights in June this year and enjoyed every minute. The hotel has a vibrancy about it that's hard to explain. I would say it is in the style of a boutique hotel with its own individual flare rather than an ordinary hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful too. The restaurant area, which is also the breakfast room, is filled with interesting books and objects and the fabrics they have chosen for their chairs gives the whole room the feeling you're in someone's very expensive home. You know the food must be fantastic when the restaurant is filled with locals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a second dining option up stairs on the terrace, weather permitting, which is a charming area to have a drink or dine. The most popular area for locals and guests alike seems to be the ground floor bar outside which allows you to enjoy the buzz of the comings & going of the ferries just opposite. Our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated, more like our own small apartment than a hotel room. We were able to order anything on the menu as room service too which was very welcoming on our first night after such a long flight. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to make us comfortable. The hotel is well positioned for an easy walk to most places you would want to see. Our thanks to the hotel staff and management, we truly enjoyed our stay with you and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Fabulous boutique hotel on the waterfront with fantastic contemporary front of house and bedrooms. What sets this hotel apart are the staff - quite superb and some of the best I have encountered throughout my worldwide travel.
Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights. An amazing boutique hotel, great ambient, very cozy and very interesting and individual interior. If you are looking for something special and different, then this must be the place to be. On the afternoon of our arrival on a Sunday, there was a DJ in the common area playing really cool music including 80's stuff. What a treat. The rooms were great too. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Out of the approx 100 nights spend in hotels this year world wide, this was surely my top pick.
