My husband and I stayed here in Jan 2018 for 4 days for our baby moon. The resort was beautiful. It was clean, lovely staff, and great recommendations for things to do in the area. The pool and spa were amazing. Being pregnant and having access to those amenities was the best. We didn't mind at all but if you are going to try and get some peace and quiet the pool area is filled with kids and thus is noisy. But you do have access to the spa area where you can sit and read quietly if you would like. The restaurants are delicious and give a nice option for not having to leave the hotel. However the restaurants on Mountain Road are also really great so if you can I would recommend going out for lunch and dinner. Would DEFINITELY recommend staying here.

This was our first trip to Vermont. We loved the vibe and atmosphere of the property, it was the staff and lack of service that was the surprise. This complaint has nothing to do the Spa staff, they were incredible. When you pay in the $400-500 a night range, you expect (maybe I'm wrong here) outstanding service. It seemed as if it was everyone's first job. The room service was lackluster at best, every time we ordered it (once a day) it was wrong. The housekeeping was also poor, one day our room was never cleaned, we had to beg the front desk or room service for water and it just seemed like everyone was disorganized. Not what we would expect for a place called "Top Notch".

Our first trip to Stowe- and we scored by selecting Top Notch for our hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from the spa, meals, staff, room, and all facilities. It was a first rate experience from when we arrived to when we checked out. Every single member of the large staff was friendly and helpful. I don’t ski- and I wasn’t bored for a minute while my family was on the mountain. We will definitely be back.

The townhouse we stayed at on a beautiful snow globe of a night in Stowe Vermont was just perfect. Three days before Christmas and the whole resort couldn’t have been any more charming and welcoming. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Roost and received great service. The music performed by a live act enhanced the restaurant greatly. Emily from the front desk drove us back to our townhouse up the snowy driveway in her personal car as the bellman were retreaving other guests from the ski mountain. A wonderful and caring staff awaits you at Topnotch. Your stay at this resort will always be fondly recalled as ours will. Oh yes, the spa is second to none and we loved meeting the new director. Kudos to the GM for putting all the pieces together at Topnotch.

We had a warm welcome there but it was not very personalized. They have a good and experienced concierge who help us a lot during our stay. The rooms were confortable and the location of the hotel is just perfect (between town and ski station, in front of a ski store). I think they should make an effort on the service of the roots restaurant which is too long, and the decoration of the entrance of the hotel need to be improved. the pets policy is uncommon ... we saw so many big dogs during our stay.
