Fifty-Nine is Streamsong's elegant steak and seafood restaurant, located in the clubhouse, and serves delectable options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including a top notch wine list. For contemporary American cuisine in a stylish setting, P2O5 hits the spot with flavorful renditions of classic fare, and the resort's flagship gourmet venue, Sotto Terra, is an experience in fine Italian and intimate personalized service. We just survived from a 8-hour drive back home from Streamsong after a very bad food position at P2O5 restaurant last night. This morning we suppose to have our last round of golf, but both my husband and I felt very sick and threw out multiply times in the morning after we shared our dinner at P2O5 last night. We feel so "lucky" that we shared the poison, otherwise, I am sure one of us would die! We decided to cancel the golf and drive back home as soon as possible. We called the front desk at 7:15 am, told them we had food poison from last dinner and we need our golf bags back from the pro shop. The lady told me the manager would be in office around 7:40am and I gave her my cell phone number. Finally around 8:30 we packed and called bell cart to help to take care of the luggage. When we got to our car, our clubs were still not there! We was so sick and waited in the hot weather for 10 more minutes. When we checked out, we told the front desk my husband's business partner take care of the whole bill and we gave her the name. Once again, we gave them my cell phone number and email address. Guess what, when we stopped at the rest area to vomit, I checked my email, there was no apology, no explanation, no follow up, but a big bill on my credit card! Finally after vomited at 4 rest areas, we survived, but still no phone call, no email from Streamsong's busy manager. This is not our first trip to Streamsong, but definitely the worst one. The caddie we hired couldn't read the green. Both my husband and I had several 4 putts after we followed his instruction. Several times he didn't rake the bunkers. Two days we didn't get toiletries in our room. That are all minor things. But I can't believe they won't give us a call for such a serious food position, as least say sorry and ask whether we are alright. Dear Manager, we are still very sick. My husband said multiply times on the way home that he was afraid he would die. I would like to send you a picture of my husband lay on the picnic table of the rest area to vomit wearing a Streamsong shirt and having a Streamsong water in his hand. Poor us! Guys, if you go there, suggest you to carry your cereal bars and range finder rather than pay high price for poison and good tip for caddie.

Played Red and Blue courses, Blue course has more character. Caddies (Big Country and Mitchell) were informative. Downside was 5 hour rounds and playing in July heat that made for long days on the links. Fortunately plenty of cold water is available every 3 to 4 holes. The lodge rooms are spacious, nice pool, and employees offer professional service. We had dinner at P205 and 59, both restaurants offer good food, but a little pricey. Take anything with you that you may need as this place is a remote location.

I recently had the opportunity to spend two nights here to play golf. What a fantastic experience. Warning, this resort is in the middle of nowhere - coming from southern Florida, I experienced the most boring drive of my life to get here. But it was worth the trip. The room was VERY comfortable with the seating/lounging area separate from the sleeping area. There were two large screen TV's and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. A shout out to Sierra who worked in one of the restaurants and was due to take time off to celebrate her birthday!! Thanks for the dinner recommendation of chicken and the excellent mojito. The golf course. Well, that was a challenge. Lots of elevated tee boxes, blind tee shots and the greens had a lot of subtle undulation. Note, get a caddy and pay attention to the caddy's advice. My group had Joel for two days and he was more than up to the task. Unfortunately, there was very little shade and it was pretty hot. My other observation - only 1 bathroom for two courses?!? I was shaking my head on that one.

I planned a weekend birthday getaway for my boyfriend and Streamsong didn't disappoint. We did the stay and play package and he golfed the Blue course and loved it. When I checked in, Drew, the man who checked us in was PHENOMENAL! He made sure we had everything we needed, and even surprised us with a bottle of wine when he knew we were there for my boyfriends birthday! Drew went above and beyond and made us reservations for 10 at SottoTerra and when we left our phone charger at home (who does that?!?) he let us borrow his personal one! We loved the pool area! The SottoTerra restaurant was just OK and didn't blow our minds. On Saturday morning we got the room service and didn't like it at all. ;( afterwards we did the Bass fishing and although super expensive, it was lots of fun. I highly recommend that if you don't golf!!!! Our guide, Erik, was super knowledgeable and I caught a huge bass! The hotel allowed us to have a late checkout without any issues. All in all, we can't wait to go back and will try the steak restaurant the next time.
