Streamsong Resort in Streamsong, Florida

Far beyond a quintessential golf and spa destination, Streamsong Resort ushers in a new era of luxury in central Florida. Extraordinary is a way of life here. Surrounded by nothing but nature in every direction, Streamsong Resort is situated just under 50 miles southeast of Tampa, enveloped by acres of rolling greens and glittering lakes. The 216-room main lodge houses custom-built guest rooms and suites that are modern and sophisticated, with views extending over the horizon, fostering a true sanctuary vibe. Spaces are no less than 530 square feet in size, and feature floor-to- ceiling windows, walk-in showers, double vanities, and boutique amenities designed to accommodate every detail of your stay. Take advantage of the lodge's complete fitness center and outdoor lakeside pool, or spend some quiet time relaxing in the serene loft/lounge area. Perfectly set with lakes on its sunrise and sunset sides, Streamsong Resort takes full advantage of its splendid setting with plenty of scenic observation spots, and the lack of city lights makes for incredible starlight views, especially from the rooftop lounge.

The resort is home to a wonderful array of amenities and sporting activities, including multiple streams and lakes that offer excellent Florida bass fishing, a sporting clay shooting range, trails for hiking and bird watching, and outdoor fireplaces. Take your relaxation to the next level at the grotto-style AcquaPietra spa, where world-class treatments will transport you to a place of tranquility and ultimate refreshment. The crown jewels of Streamsong Resort, though, are the critically acclaimed Streamsong Blue and Streamsong Red golf courses. Renowned golf architects Bill Coore, Ben Crenshaw, and Tom Doak worked simultaneously to create two extraordinary 18-hole golf masterpieces - both of which were specifically designed to be walked and offer the ultimate golfing experience. When it comes to dining, the resort continues its superior offerings with four casual and fine dining venues, as well as multiple bars. Fifty-Nine is Streamsong's elegant steak and seafood restaurant, located in the clubhouse, and serves delectable options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including a top notch wine list. For contemporary American cuisine in a stylish setting, P2O5 hits the spot with flavorful renditions of classic fare, and the resort's flagship gourmet venue, Sotto Terra, is an experience in fine Italian and intimate personalized service. Toast your fabulous day at the rooftop lounge, and delight in the endless pleasures that Streamsong Resort consistently brings.

The three golf courses are very good. The lodge itself is great - rooms are well done & very comfortable. The service, everywhere, is very slow. They appear very understaffed and you wait for everything - drinks in every bar, food, and the shuttle service. They don’t come around every 15 minutes as advertised - be sure to let someone know to call. Definitely worth going, but not comparable to a place like Bandon or even Kohler.

I’m not sure how their dining has gotten worse but it has. The lunches are solid but they are lucky there is no where close to go to dinner. I was hopeful for the new Bone Valley tavern but that meal was below average. The rotisserie chicken tasted like hot dog and was like rubber. The 6th floor bar shrunk their menu in the last yr. the burger is fine, steak tacos were very average and the meat and cheese plate was a joke. In both places the service was slow while the crowd was sparse. The new Black Course is spectacular while the Red Course is also great. I don’t care for the blue as I find the greens to be gimmicky. The room is comfy but the pillows are the worst. The fitness center is very adequate and the shuttle service is reliable. Don’t waste your money going to the spa. We were surprised by how nice the pool was. Overall Streamsong needs to step their game up a lot with the new resorts opening or they will lose their luster.

This is a must see and play for all golfers. The design is amazing, the course is in great shape. You will not believe you are in Florida! The price is right and the staff was good. They were a little pushy on getting a caddie. Get the yardage book and you will be fine. The course is a gem! I have never seen greens and fairways so big

My 20 year old daughter and I booked the one night spa package as a way to have a pre-Christmas getaway together- we live only one hour away. What a rejuvenating calm, quiet experience - this place is beautiful and serene-gorgeous native landscape and sleek modern, rustic design. Both the hotel staff and the spa staff were exceptional-pleasant, accommodating, and kind. Our room was superb-spacious and very comfortable. The outdoor fire pits made a peaceful place to converse and relax at night. The spa was like a grotto getaway-our massages were wonderful and the multiple pools and relaxation space was lovely. We had dinner at P2O5- it was delicious, and our room service breakfast the next morning was bountiful and delectable. We may do this every year as a relaxing beginning to the holiday season!

We went twice! In July on business, I slept like a baby here! We stayed at the Red/Blue clubhouse in the suites above the pro shop and restaurant, playing the Red course and enjoyed a round of sporting clays onsite there too. Ultra modern styling of Suites and still fresh looking. We had private meeting room with billiards and putting green on the floor! In December we stayed in the main hotel. Bathroom was large and spacious as was the bedroom and living room area. There were a few people in the 6th floor Fragmentary Blue bar, great view there though! We played the Red and Black courses, the "Black" course came online in October, after delay by Hurricane Irma in September. Ladies will Struggle with the lack of restroom facilities on the course! Streamsong needs to address this need because even the men are off in the grass relieving themselves! PLEASE! It's even worse on the Black course where you must walk the entire course! Other than that, we found the Red course very enjoyable and the Black course fun as well. Some of the comments written about it being gimmicky are understandable but we found it to be a great diversion from the normal "Hard" courses. The caddies, Andrew and Jacks, were great with their advice on the Black course and it made it enjoyable, did not seem gimmicky. The greens were very fast and with a lot of features to putt around and thru and we had one of our players shoot 1 over. It was a fun course but to each his own... The Bone Valley Tavern (BVT) should have earned a spot on Trip Advisor by now! We had dinner there one night, huge steaks and "filet" meatloaf wrapped in bacon, that were delicious. Get the beets side order, my favorite thus far! The next morning we had a great breakfast and after finishing a Black course round, worked up an appetite for lunch where we dined on the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, BVT burger, chicken wrap and mahi sandwiches. All were excellent! The food at the BVT was very good in all three meal slots, so don't hesitate to go thinking it's just driving range fast food because It's definitely not! It was very good!
