Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida

Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach picked an ideal location to pitch its bright red beach loungers and cozy hammocks. Fashion types will delight in the proximity of the Bal Harbour Shops and Aventura Mall, while guests who crave Miami Beach’s neon lights can easily get their nightly fix. The biggest temptation, however, is right at the resort – four pools, including an adults-only oasis flanked by cabanas, offer tranquility that can only be topped by a visit to the Finnish saunas and ice fountains at the award-winning spa.

Claim your shaded lounge chair on a quiet, sugary beach early and fall promptly back to sleep. The sun warms you to the core. Drift in crystal-clear Atlantic water and walk back through lush gardens, stopping to sip on a pineapple-mango smoothie by the pool. Take an afternoon drive to explore Miami’s Art Deco district and return for a plate of rigatoni worth writing home about – to your New York friends still waiting for reservations.

We have been coming to Acqualina at Sunny Isles for over 10 years now! Each time just gets better and better. The staff are so amazing and are always attentive to everything and anything we need. Recently, we've been getting a cabana at the pool, and the amazing Sara Garcia has taken the utmost care of us at the pool and we've just loved getting to know her and the people she works with...Giovanna is super amazing and kind, and Glenda always comes to see how we're doing. Their kindness and hospitality is always appreciated and we love it!

I stayed at this hotel because of the great reviews. The stay was great but ended on a bad note. Everything went well until we checked out and began driving home. My 12 year old daughter mentioned she forgot her purse in one of the drawers in the room, so immediately I called hotel security. The checked the room and said there was no purse. So later they had housekeeping check the room and found it. So they shipped it back to us, and charge me $26 to ship it FedEx!! Anyway, the purse arrived with my daughters $40 cash missing! She had $50 in cash and a few gift cards. I called hotel security almost 2 weeks ago and explained the situation, but still no call back. To hotel security, It's really not about the $40, it's about a reputable hotel stealing from my 12 year daughters purse and not following up. Not staying there again.

The Acqualina staff (in the resort, at the restaurants, by the pool, or on the beach) separate this place from all other top resorts I've visited. Genuinely friendly, warm, caring. It's clear that Acqualina treats their people well, and they treat their guests the same way. Mariana and Camilla were so personable and made our stay very memorable; and on the beach, Joshua and Dylon took great care of us. A 5 star experience made to feel very family-like with no attitude. I can't wait to return.

Came in here last weekend with my boyfriend and had an amazing experience. The customer service from the staff was phenomenal and so was my massage therapist. The lunch that we ordered poolside was very tasty and I would recommend getting the salmon. Only downside is it isn't co-ed but that just means I'll come here with my girlfriends next time. And they validate your parking which is another plus!

The hotel was nice and the beach was even better we thoroughly enjoyed the adults only pool which was quieter and more realxing. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. At check-in they offered us complimentary champagne or mimosas which was a nice touch. We stayed in the intracostal room and it was very spacious with a separate living room. The bath amenities were espa and nice. They also have a car service that will give you a ride within a few mile radius of the hotel in their Cadilac Escalade. Overall it was a nice stay. There was one issue with a snack we ordered that came out very late and soggy. They immediately refunded us and brought out a new one. As a travel agent, I highly recommend this hotel and will book again for my own clients.
