We only stayed one night pre cruise, there was a problem with our booking the dates were wrong, not what you want after a 22 hour trip and your very tired, however this wasn't a problem for them Billy at the front desk was brilliant, he sorted it out and gave us a complimentary upgrade which was very good of him. The rooms were very good ( shame we weren't staying longer) balcony which you could see the beach from. Breakfast was good plenty to eat ( continental included in price). It's quite away from Linclon Road and Ocean Drive, approximately 1 hours brisk walk or bus/taxi, hence why post cruise we stayed much nearer to South Beach. If your not bothered by the location then I would recommend .

The hotel boasts itself as a resort. Having stayed at a fair share of resorts and knitting what to expect, this place should not advertise as one. It was clean, modern but overpriced. We ordered two drinks which came in plastic cups and were diluted. The charge was $37! YES, I was speechless. The parking fee is another cost which has to be taken into account. The front desk was consulted to visit an urgent care facility and I was sent to an orthopedic place. Location is good...

My husband and I just wrapped up a four night stay at Marenas with our infant. We chose Marenas because of it's family-friendly reputation, great price and rooms with kitchens and washer/dryers. On all three counts the resort lived up to billing: there were tons of families, we spent a bargain compared to nearby options and our one-bedroom suite was like a small apartment - very functional and well-sized. And while we had a nice time, we wouldn't agree with other over-the-top complimentary reviews. It's a very adequate three star hotel - service is friendly but not exceptional and accommodations are pretty standard in terms of comfort. It's not really comparable to a luxury option, but that may not be what you're looking for. In that case, Marenas is great. One other caveat: in November, at least, beginning at about 1pm the beach starts to become shady as the sun dips behind the tall oceanfront towers. By 2:30pm the area in front of the hotel is completely without sun. This likely happens at many hotels along the row, but it's something to keep in mind if you, like us, try to stay on the beach all day.

Perfect is the only word for this Hotel! We just spent 10 days here & couldn't fault it! Staff very friendly, helpful & efficient especially Scott who helped us book our tours & gave us great advice on where to eat & what to see he was amazing. Breakfast great & room immaculate. We couldn't of picked better. There is great places near by to eat & supermarket is a 2 minute walk away.
