Beautiful hotel and property! Pros: -Quick access to the beach -Chairs and umbrella provided for FREE by the hotel -Unlimited towels -Food and bar service on the beach -Clean pool and facilities Cons: -It costs money to have a package delivered to the hotel -The sun dips behind the high rises around 3 oclock so you have to move to get sun. Big minus here!

We were traveling to the area because we had a horse racing at gulfstream park & found marenas on trip advisor. The reviews & pictures looked great & it was within close proximity, so we booked it. We were so glad that we did! Everybody we dealt with was so friendly & accomodating; and our suite couldn't have been any better! We upgraded to an oceanfront 1 bedroom suite& it was amazing. The views were gorgeous! The beach was great! (Kenny & his friendly staff take great care of you). The gym was very functional. Room service was good & very reasonably priced....our whole experience was very positive & we are looking forward to planning another trip back! We would (& have) highly recommend staying herešŸ˜Š!!!!!

Location was great! Only a couple minutes from Aventura Mall, grocery stores and drugstore closer. Room was comfortable and equipped with full kitchen. Two television's made being lazy easy whether laying in bed or fixing dinner etc. Privacy if watching different show than family. Every staff member was very nice and attentive! However, I will focus on the beach staff! Chris was fantastic in all aspects. He introduced his manager and assistant mgr (Kenny and Claudio). They all constantly checked on us. My wife had a desired location on the beach and Chris did everything he could to accommodate us. When he could not, he would let us know if someone left that area for the day. He volunteered to take an order for food/drinks when or if waitstaff wasn't available. He spoke highly of his employer and talked of future growth. Kenny was openly complimentary concerning his guys. Expressing a caring outlook as did his team. They each worked hard and always stopped and said hello etc We were there to relax from life, this team made that a reality! Being in the service industry before my medical condition, I know the difference between doing my job attitude and I care attitude! These folks get it! Chris, Kenny, Claudio and Leon were on top of everything! The rest of team I didn't personally deal with , but watched as they to were friendly and available. Finally, it is more than being served or helped that makes experiences like these memorable, it is the conversation and human connection. There were no robotic motions and duties that I observed, we felt invited, welcome and understood. Great job folks! See you next trip!

Excellent boutique hotel for one wanting to get away to the beach. The staff is what makes this facility. We were so impressed by the entire staff, from check-in to check-out. One gem on staff is Jakob Karboff who, along with the entire concierge team, directed us to the best restaurants in the area. We were so pleased that we asked him for recommendations each night. The beach location is spot on, as was the pool and hot tub. The food was delicious. We found the lobby waiting area and bar very warm and welcoming, a great place for meeting local friends who wanted to come see us. I would return to this hotel in the future when in the area.

The best things about our oceanfront 2 bedroom condo were the view, the staff on the beach, and our rental agent. Unfortunately it ends there. Sunny Isles Beach has tons of construction going on and the empty lot next to Marenas is being used as a construction site AT NIGHT!! We paid a lot of money to have an oceanfront room with a balcony. However, the city of Sunny Isles Beach managed to ruin most of our evenings. From Monday night through Thursday night, 10 pm through sometimes 5 am, we had to listen to dump trucks and loaders instead of hearing the ocean. In addition to the noise, our unit had: Chipped walls, Hot water only when master bathtub was running, Shelf in master shower so tilted you couldn't use it, Second bathroom door stuck so bad you had to use 2 hands, Stains on curtains, Stains on comforter in master bedroom, Stains and pulls all over carpeting, No washcloths, No pillows for pullout, No cushions on chairs on second balcony, Furniture badly scratched, Dryer screeched extremely loud when drying and no bifold door to close, Ice maker didn't work, and No pot holders to use for oven. We did spend our last night in a different unit that was much nicer then unit I reviewed. I was disappointed with the pool, which is small, not enough lounge chairs, and is mostly in the shade by 2:30, as is the beach. Now the good - Kenny Dominguez. This man works his butt off on the beach and makes sure his team is up to his standards. He loves his job and it shows. Thanks Kenny! Karen from Karentals. This woman was there every step of the way and worked with us to make our vacation a positive memory! Thanks Karen!
