Marenas Beach Resort

This was a great spot for the cost and direct access to the beach with all the services and a really cool tiki bar by the pool. Bialy was great with helping set up the umbrellas and the chair very good service. Raquel and Christian were excellent food and beverage providers and so was Kristina.

We had an amazing experience thanks to Bioly at Marenas Resort. He truly catered to our needs from start to finish and went above and beyond to make our day special. He even secured us front row beach chairs right by the ocean which made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxing. Bioly was incredibly kind attentive and professional throughout. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests having a great time. If you are staying at Marenas I highly recommend connecting with him he made a big difference in our stay

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Andres Benitez, the operational manager, for making my stay in Miami unforgettable. Thanks to him, my solo vacation felt warm and dreamlike. Mr. Benitez’s professionalism, understanding, and kindness made a difference. When I arrived late and faced some issues with my room and payment, I had the chance to meet him the next morning, he resolved the situation effortlessly, and gave me the most beautiful surprise of my stay , an amazing room upgrade where I felt so good !! A Gorgeous fully equipped one bedroom apartment !! thanks to him it felt like a home away from home 🙏🏻 Mr. Lionel, who helped me with my luggage, was the first person I met and directed me to Mr. Benitez. He treated me with kindness and care throughout my whole stay , this man is really a gem in your hotel . The night security team, provided great company and kindness , Mr. Jameson, Mr. Manny, and especially Mr. Juan Carlos was incredibly caring and kind, he became a friend to me . Mr. Bialy from the beach team took extra care of me, always finding the best spot under the sun. The entire beach team is exceptional. Mr. Diego, Mr. Janier, and Miss Carmen from the front desk were always kind and prompt, greeting me with smiles and ensuring I had everything I needed. The housekeepers also provided extra cleaning when I needed it. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire Marenas Beach Resort team for making my stay so wonderful. The location is amazing if you’re looking for a dreamy beach , free of noise , a place to reset and unwind !! the neighborhood is extra safe mostly for a solo woman , the atmosphere is really great and warm at the hotel , the room amenities are above regular standards and even in low floors the windows and doors are noise canceling , the hotel amenities are great mostly the fitness center wich is provided with all the gym materials that you can imagine and you need if you’re working out regularly. the value quality/price is really a good one , I’ll definitely return, bringing my mother next time so she can experience this dream vacation too. Where to start? First off we were put on the side of the hotel where a new high rise building is being built. So construction starts everyday at 7am, good luck sleeping in. You’d think there would be a discount on the price, you’d be wrong. My girlfriend and I asked what time the pool closes to the woman at the front desk. Her response was “Well, it’s supposed to be sunset, but usually our towel attendants stop giving out towels and close it down around 6-6:30. But the ocean is open 24/7.” That night we get to the room and there’s a note under our door written in broken English that didn’t make sense. We went to the front desk and were told no issues with your room. They didn’t know why there was a note. I should add we were charged for the entire stay at check in which we confirmed on the credit card statement. The cleaning staff forgot to put new towels in our room, so we had to call to ask for towels, and were brought a plastic bag with 8 extra towels. Ummmm ok, a tad passive aggressive but thank you? We went to dinner that night came back to the room and found a second plastic garbage bag tied off and more towels. So we slid both bags under the sink and now had more towels than we knew what to do with. Then day two, there was an extreme heat advisory, so you’d think there would be an extra water bottle or two in the room when we returned from the days activities, you’d be wrong. The statement from the front desk, “no, just two bottles of water per stay.” Huh? We went to the pool after 6:30 and yes the towel attendants had gone home so we needed to use bath towels. Oh btw, the towels from the day before that we hadn’t used and left in the garbage bags under the sink……. They were gone. The body wash container in the shower was empty, never refilled, the patio chair and small table were moved into the room with no explanation, until 4 hours later when a note was slid under the door that it was because of impending weather, ok that makes sense but tell us when you do it. Came back from dinner, key didn’t work. Went to front desk and it was reset, no mention of issues with the card on file. My girlfriend complained but no response came by email or phone from management Day 3. After a day out, came back to the hotel and tried to get in again the key didn’t work. We go back to the front desk and now are told the Mastercard on file had an issue. Problem, neither one of us has a Mastercard and a Mastercard wasn’t used to make the reservation. So we gave the original credit card that was charged $2300 at the time of check in and they charged that another $980. We were told that we didn’t need to come to the front desk to check out. Go up to the room, body wash is still empty but YAY, we have two towels. Day 4, we check out and while sitting at the airport, after already being charged $2400 for the 3 days, the card on file has been attempted to be charged another $3500 which has been stopped by the bank. When my girlfriend called the manager argued with her and insisted we hadn’t been charged which we have the proof. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY HERE.

The bar at the Marenas Beach Resort was easily the best part of our stay! Ale was an amazing bartender and we looked forward to coming back to the resort every night to get drinks from her and Christian. Despite some hiccups with the hotel their hospitality was always reliable and friendly- we’d stay here again just for that!
