We chose to spend our cruise ship return date in Miami before leaving for home. This resort seems to be a good choice. We like the location; right on the beach. The resort is really more of a condo feel. Very narrow main entrance that leads back to a small dining area and bar and out to the outdoor pool and beach beyond. The weather was not cooperative on the day we were there....extremely windy and chilly. Not much to do on the inside so we chose to go shopping instead. Room was comfortable. Nice view of the ocean. We ate at another restaurant off the property that evening and were on the road to the airport by 4:30 the next morning.

My husband and I were looking forward to a night away from the kids while we attended a friend's wedding. My first opinion of the room itself was that it was just ok for the price (our special wedding party rate was $230 for the night) and I noticed right away that the hallways were dingy and carpets had not been vacuumed in quite some time. I took a photo of a vent (see below) that was covered in dust. In my opinion, a 4-star hotel should never be allowed to get this dirty in any nook and cranny. After we got back to the hotel from the wedding, late at night, we were unable to get in with any of our room keys. My husband went down to the lobby and they supplied more keys. They didn't work. He went back down and came back up - nope. Finally, we called the front desk from the hallway and they sent up an "engineer" who said the battery in the door lock was dead. He let us into the room and went on his way. The next morning, we went to take a shower and let it run for about 5 minutes - ice cold water. My husband called down to the lobby and they said "let the shower run for 5 to 10 minutes." We did. It never got warm. My husband took a super quick cold shower. We continued to let it run and it warmed up enough (we are 20+ minutes of letting the shower run now) to get a barely luke-warm shower. My husband got dressed and went down to talk to the front desk about it and get some coffee while I got ready. When he came back, he couldn't get into the room because of the lock STILL not working (was drying my hair and couldn't hear him at the door at first). We called yet again and they sent up another engineer who (finally) fixed the lock. Couldn't wait to check out and get home at this point. Here's the good: the hotel tried to make our experience "right" by comping us the breakfast buffet, which ended up being pretty nice as we enjoyed the food and the ocean view. The valet staff was very sweet and accommodating as were some of the front desk workers. I was just overall disappointed in the short experience... we never get a night away alone, so it was disappointing to have so many hiccups. Sadly, I don't recommend staying here if you're in the area. Surely, there are nicer places to stay on the ocean (which is always amazing!)

Staff at this hotel is very friendly and accommodating. Bellman Jacob is always ready to help and has always been great during my visits to this property. Concierge Eric is very knowledgable and friendly. Valet parking guys are always fast and polite. Property itself is right on the beach and has a recently remodelled pool. Overall, one of the best properties in Sunny Isles Beach!

Room was very nice, we had a family apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, laundromat and three bathrooms. Large balcony. What a comfort. Staff was friendly and responsive. Vallet parking wad some headaches in the busy times but overall OK. Great breakfast. We were missing fry pan in the kitchen and it was brought up very quickly. Thanks for the bell man from Ukraine (forgot the name) and Talia/Erick from reception.

Although my family and I only stay at this resort for just two days, this was an awesome resort to stay. First of all the structure of this resort, when we first got to this resort I thought it a high rise condominium. Once we got to our room, the living quarters was fabulous at best. Second the beach and the view, the beaches in Miami are clean and fabulous and view of the beaches are breathtaking. The third are your staff, friendly, caring, and helpful especially Taia. Most of all it the location of the beachfront is awesome. My family and I would love to come here again. Thank you Marenas for a wonderful stay.
