Reviews for Sunriver Resort
Great location and food. We love this area since we were kids. Beautiful scenery and sometimes even wildlife. We return every fall for my birthday. Great food in Carson's Kitchen. You cant go wrong with anything but especially the French toast and berries for breakfast!

The location of Sunriver is fantastic both as for its setting as well as for access to great hiking. Hidden resort fees are not appreciated or appropriate, especially if one is not using extra facilitities.
Sun River. Great location. Lack of concern and service was very disappointing to us. Slept in dirty linens and cleaned up our room ourselves. See notes in evaluation. Wished for something great. Got less. Felt unimportant and not cared for. 36 years of marriage and travels.
I think the rooms are in desperate need of updating, especially the beds/mattresses. The king bed in my room was not level. I ended up having to sleep upside down just so I didn't feel like the blood was rushing to my head and making me feel dizzy. I also did not feel like the sheets were fresh/clean, which was disconcerting. Also, with some sort of connection port with lights bright and blinking, the pilot light in the fireplace and alarm clock, it felt like daylight in there even with all the lights out. I had to go around the room and figure out ways to obstruct the light to get some sleep.
Dirty beds, inaccurate reservations, late check in time just a few of the issues encountered on this trip. Every time we ask for the problem to be fixed, we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. Only positive was golf and weather.
