Sunriver Resort

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Sunriver Resort and had to pop on here to leave a stellar review! Not only is the outdoor ceremony location one of the most beautiful spots in all of Central Oregon, but the Lodge itself is absolutely breathtaking. I also had the opportunity to stay in the resort lodging, and the room was wonderful. The beds were seriously amazing, which is always a huge bonus after a long wedding day! Everything was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The food was also phenomenal. From the wedding meal to the overall dining experience, everything we had was delicious. On top of all that, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire experience. We worked with the on-site coordinator, who was an absolute doll while also being incredibly professional and organized. As a wedding photographer, it makes such a difference when a venue team is easy to work with and genuinely cares about creating a great experience for the couple and their guests. We would come back to photograph weddings at Sunriver Resort in a heartbeat. Between the gorgeous scenery, beautiful spaces, comfortable accommodations, delicious food, and fantastic staff, this is truly a special wedding venue. I highly recommend it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family recently enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation at Sunriver Resort, and we had such a memorable time! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with so much to see and do for the entire family. While we were there, we enjoyed swimming at the Cove, biking, paddle boarding, visiting the Owl’s Nest and attending one of the wonderful backyard concerts. all were highlights of our trip and added to the relaxed, fun atmosphere of the resort. A special thank-you to our waitress, Ashley Thornton, who went above and beyond to make our experience even more enjoyable. Her wonderful service and attention to our family truly stood out. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to get away, spend quality time with your family, enjoy great activities, and make lasting memories, I highly recommend Sunriver Resort. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to visit again! ❤️

Sunriver Resort is fantastic! The facilities are warm, inviting, cozy, lodge-y. Great amenities with the spa and main lodge. Rooms are awesome- with fireplaces built in! And with timers, you can set them and forget them- a great way to doze off at night by the fire! Highly recommend!

Hubby and I were on a two week road trip and instead of staying at the local Best Western we decided to splurge a little. THIS resort was so fun. We only stayed one night, but we sure ended up doing a lot. We arrived about 1pm and though we couldn't get into our accommodations we were able to change into our swimsuits and utilize the pool/bar/restaurant area while waiting to check in. Swimming and playing corn hole, reading and snacking and just enjoying the weather and realaxing. When we finally checked into our studio we were delighted. Very nicely appointed and though we didn't require it the place was ADA compliant which I have a friend who would simply have love staying there. We ended up having dinner at the food truck area and that was a lot of fun and then we found the main restaurant by the Quarry Pool and just had drinks and people watched and was overcome by the beautiful sunset that happened. Had a great nights sleep and left the next morning. We definitely want to come back and stay longer!

I recently wrote a review of our house rental from Sunriver Lodging. We spent six nights without a kitchen refrigerator and were a party of 10 people. We had to insist on a meeting with managers to discuss compensation and, while admitting is was a "major inconvenience," they offered only $500 off our nearly $8000 bill. My review is listed below. After posting the review, Wendy Collins, Director of Rooms at Sunriver Lodging, issued a response on Trip Advisor. empathizing with the impact on our trip. She asked me to "reach out as soon as possible so we may speak further." After leaving two phone message over the past two weeks, I have heard nothing from her. It appears she wanted to convey to the public the impression she was concerned about our experience but her silence discloses that the impression was her sole concern. The only thing worse than the treatment we received during our stay at Sunriver was the response to my review asking for a discussion she had no intention of having.
