Very convenient location in downtown Sydney, walkable and near public transportation. Near lots of restaurants. Good breakfast inside the hotel. Amazing views of the city. Wonderful quality of cleanliness, great shower, comfortable beds.

We spent one night here in December, and were very happy to find out that the location was very close to lots of shops and restaurants! We used Hilton Points for the room - so I can't really comment on the price, but we were very happy with our stay!

We had a great stay the staff were excellent and only to happy to help you in any way, we had canapés and drinks in the evening and a nice continental breakfast before we left in the morning. Our room was neat and tidy.

I was on a business trip to Sydney and wanted a CBD hotel as my meetings are all within the area. On top of that I am a HiltonHonors member which makes the decision-making process easier coupled by the fact that the room rates of hotels of similar quality were more expensive during that period of time. I got a room that was facing QVB which had its own pros and cons. The pros are nicer view and you can even see Darling Harbour from the room whereas the disadvantage is the tram line construction is going on full blast and while the soundproofing is good once in a while there would be loud thuds and grinding noise. The location is Hilton's biggest advantage. I can walk to any part of the CBD within 15 minutes max and if I need to go further the Town Hall train station is just steps away from the hotel. The area also has lots of F&B outlets and if the appetite wants something fancy, Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay are mere 10 minutes' walk away. A Woolsworth store is just down the street and when I was there Woolsworth was having 50% discount on all Tim Tams. You can imagine what filled up my suitcase. The upscale Pitt St Mall and Westfield Shopping Centre are located not far away from the hotel. Hilton I believe had a refurbishment recently and the room deco freshness and sleekness are still evident. A colleague of mine who was staying in another hotel nearer to Circular Quay was complaining his hotel room looked dated despite being priced few notches higher than Hilton. The room has a full fledged working desk with powerpoints and basic stationery provided. An Australian powerpoint adaptor was also provided which was a nice gesture. Housekeeping was meticulous and unobtrusive. They were also generous with towels! My only real complaint is the TV I believed was internet-based and more often than not the channel cannot change and an error message is displayed. After shifting through channels and most of them showing the same error message, I have had enough and decided to either call it a day or have a walk to nice locations in the city, which was not difficult due to its central location.

Stayed at the Hilton for three days prior to my cruise. The room was very spacious and in superb condition. The restaurant located at the hotel is pricey but very good. The location is excellent for those wanting to see the main parts of Sydney.
