Hi Team, I wanted to provide some feedback regarding our stay over the weekend in room 107, Stewarts. On Friday evening, after traveling all day, we had pre-arranged two rooms for our children that were supposed to be interconnecting. Unfortunately, due to poor communication, we had to wait for 45 minutes until someone found the key to enable access to the two rooms. This was very frustrating, especially since the booking clearly stipulated that the rooms should be interconnected and that this should have been organized upon our arrival. Additionally, I had prepaid for the entire weekend to avoid any monetary hassles during our stay. However, on both occasions at breakfast, the waitstaff insisted that we needed to pay for additional children. As noted in the booking, there were three children: a 6-month-old, a 4-year-old, and a 5-year-old. I had specified this at the time of booking before making the payment. This caused confusion and frustration each morning as I had to explain multiple times that I had already paid. This situation should have been resolved on your end. At checkout, I was once again told that I needed to pay for valet parking, which I had already paid for along with the additional breakfast charges. I had to sift through my emails to locate the relevant receipts to prove that these had been paid prior to our stay. This added to my frustration, as your front desk staff seemed unaware of the situation. Given the status of your hotel, such circumstances, particularly concerning monetary matters, should not arise, and I shouldn’t have to continuously prove payment. Lastly, on Saturday evening, we requested a new blanket, but the staff who brought it gave us the wrong size and simply said, "That will do," before leaving. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but having to repeatedly clarify that we had prepaid and needed to pay for services that were already settled was extremely dissatisfying and unprofessional. We had a suite and the furnishings felt old and tired. Dented wood and drawers that didn’t stay closed. The bathrooms felt dated in style too.

We stayed to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful stay. Rooms very comfortable with great amenities. Pool facilities great. Definitely worth staying two nights (or longer) and visiting the Observatory Bar. The staff are all wonderful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay.
