The Langham Sydney

We recently hosted a business workshop at The Langham Sydney, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The function staff were exceptionally attentive, anticipating our needs throughout the day and ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Their professionalism and genuine care made our team feel very well looked after and truly special. The hotel’s location is fantastic—perfectly situated within easy walking distance to the Opera House, The Rocks, and Darling Harbour, which made it ideal for team members who wanted to explore the city after the workshop. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with the added bonus of windows that open—a feature not often found in city hotels. Despite staying during Vivid, there was little to no street noise, allowing for a very comfortable and restful stay. The catering was excellent, with a great selection of food throughout the event. A standout for the team was the caramel-filled mini donuts—an absolute highlight! A sincere thank you to all the staff at The Langham Sydney for delivering such a high-quality experience and helping make our workshop both productive and memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel for corporate events and business stays.

Loved it until I accidentally left gift item’s in fridge and were told they were not there! Disappointed someone lied!

The Sydney Langham is average. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and this one is just very average. It’s it’s a 90s renovation and it’s dated. They told me I had breakfast included when I was making the phone booking with the hotel direct as it was on Booking.com but when we got to breakfast in the morning we were denied. We were there for 3 night and I though they might include in the second night after I mentioned it at reception but they just ignored it and made me feel like I was scum for asking for something that they said previously was included. I gave up and just decided i want be going back to any of the Langham Hotels ever again. Just a weird vibe coming from the staff and I didn’t enjoy it at all. Never again.

Gorgeous old-school hotel charm and hospitality. Great location with historical interest. Walking, uber and transport easy.

Overall, a lovely stay at The Langham Sydney. Having stayed at The Langham Brisbane, I felt the Brisbane hotel was definatly more luxurious, especially with unique touches like the pink telephone box and grand bar. The Sydney property is elegant, comfortable, and offers excellent service, although it doesn't feel quite as grand. The location is a little out of the way, but the hotel itself is beautiful and provides a lovely stay.
