My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. This is a true luxury hotel with amazing service. Everyone on staff is so attentive and accommodating. We had dinner one night in the Palm Court and the food was delicious and the service outstanding. I was really impressed with the wine pairing our server suggested too. We also really liked the pillow menu, as it allowed us to try out several until we found the ones that worked best for us. The bed was really comfortable too. The location was easy walking to the Rocks, the CBD, Circular Quay and Darling Harbour, which was great for exploring the city. We felt really pampered here and would happily stay here again!

I am always treated extremely well and feel very special. I highly recommend to my business colleagues, my family and friends. This is the only hotel I stay in Sydney if I have a choice or if it is not fully booked. The staff knows how to treat their clients.

Our second visit was as good as the first. We stayed on the second floor in a very large room. Everything in the room is beautiful from the carpet to the pillows on the sofa. The hotel also left us a nice little welcome back gift of delicious truffles. The hotel is close to everything, 5 min walk to Barangaroo and all its restaurants (love fish is great), 10 mins to Pitt street, 15 mins to Cockle Bay Wharf. It’s wonderful to do this walk as the sun sets all the way to Darling Harbour. If the hotel’s cute London style pink taxi is outside the hotel, they do short trips to local sites like The Rocks or the above destinations, if you ask the concierge. Our bed was so huge that 4 people could have slept in it. There is a very large comprehensive pillow menu too in case you are not happy with the 6 amazing pillows on the bed already. The spa at this place is magnificent styled like a Roman bath. There is a large spa, steam rooms and a well maintained gym with a huge variety of machines. We ordered room service and the food was delivered quickly. We had the charcuterie platter which was loaded and also the prawn dumplings. We opted for the buffet breakfast the following morning, which was pretty good. The only downside was that they seated us at table that had not been cleared properly and it was missing all the cutlery and it took a while to get them to give us some. It is a really small thing but it stood out in a hotel that’s always so perfect in every regard. But we love this place and will be back for sure.

We loved our stay here- it was the little things that made a big difference. The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. We have a baby and they provided a cute baby pack in the room and the room service was excellent. The hotel is small and very elegant. Although the views are not great compared to other hotels, it's a nicer place to stay and the location is great for walking around. It is quite expensive but we felt it was worth it.

We visited Sydney a few weeks ago as part of a cruise. We really wanted to enjoy some time in fresh air after feeling a bit claustrophobic on the boat. We decided to splurge and get a larger room with a balcony facing Sydney harbour. We stayed 2 nights and used the balcony for pretty much 3 minutes. The view was mostly of all the construction around. The noise was unbearable and the dust coming from all angles. We forked out over $600 per night and could not avail of the facilities we paid for. We didn't make a fuss of it but did mention it on check out to only get a "oh, we are sorry". Not even an effort to make it better. Overall, a disappointing stay. The rest was ok. Food and drinks are too pricey and I don't think they have a restaurant per say which is odd for a luxury hotel.
