We stayed here for part of our Honeymoon in a loft room which was really cool and different. The staff helped with a special surprise in our room for our special occasion and they had a free minibar, snacks, a yoga mat and other swag which made our stay even more fun. The only negative was that the location was on the other side of the Botanical Garden so we had to walk up and down a bunch of stairs and through the garden to get to sites like the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. Beautiful scenery, but still a bit of a hike when walking!

We arrived at the hotel early one morning after an overnight flight from Singapore. Our check in time was quite a few hours away but the fantastic, helpful reception staff found us a room within minutes. This allowed us to shower, change and begin our tour of Sydney and Manly. Without this our day in Sydney would not have been as pleasant as it was! The pool and jacuzzi were great as was the breakfast. Please book direct with the hotel as they give you lots of extras for free : a lot bag, free mini bar, breakfast and I'm sure there's more I've missed out. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Sydney.

I always try to stay here when in Sydney. Great location and atmosphere, friendly staff and really comfy beds and pillows. Not to mention all the free stuff! The Ovolo 1888 in Darling Harbour is great also.

We stayed in Ovolo Woolloomooloo a couple of weeks ago for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was great and staff very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely room (with city view) and equally attractive perks such as free mini bar, happy hour, breakfast and bag of goodies. An extra nice touch was the complimentary bottle of champagne. Definitely would stay there again, though we may even take our son next time as the hotel is child friendly with a pool and old school Atari/Sega game tables.

Such a great hotel, very different, being an old woollen mill. They have kept a lot of the original features which is very interesting. It has a great position on one of the many wharfs and has many fabulous restaurants along side and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The room was lovely and spacious with a mezzanine, with the lounge area downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom on the mezzanine. It's just a fifteen minute walk across the botanical garden to the centre or to the Royal Opera house and the ferries. Breakfast at the hotel was varied and delicious with great service. Loved all of the art in the hotel and along the wharf side.
