The building is well maintained and located at city centre. The ceiling lights, lobby and elevators are stylish! Staff is polite and he patiently explained me how to go to visit my friend in St. Isle. Well done.

We have stayed at the Sir Stamford nearly 60 times and have already booked for a dozen or so stays in 2018. So you can tell we like the the traditional feel to the hotel, its comfort, lovely staff and excellent dining room. And the Botanic Gardens are opposite, the Opera House 5 minutes down the road and Circular Quay on the doorstep. It is simply wonderful to wander in the gardens and the Domain in the morning. Lovely not to be a in a glizzy modern hotel but one made for old fashioned comfort.

Old world appearance of the hotel quite appealing, location is great, hot breakfast a bit of a letdown, go with the continental instead. Bathroom was fantastic and the bed very comfortable and the staff very nice.

What a great stay. A quiet hotel with a huge room (King Deluxe) with all the amenities you could wish for. The bed was very comfy and the room was extremely well appointed - everything from the complementary water bottles to the iron was of the highest quality. Bathroom was huge with a big bath and a shower. Very friendly service! Thank you!!
