Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Sydney

“Upscale business hotel”

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

The experience was pretty good but not great. First the positives: when I travel I preferentially try to book a Four Seasons hotel because I know I will receive a certain level of service and the rooms will be nice, and I will not be nickel and dimed. In that vein, the manager, Darren, was top notch. Front desk staff and Restaurant staff were all excellent. The bed itself was comfortable. We received welcome treats, drinks, and free bottles of water. Twice a day turn down service. We traveled using Amex Fine hotels program and did get an upgrade from a partial Harborview room to a full harbor view. It is in a great location! Short walk to the harbor front. Awesome breakfast buffet. The areas where I felt like the whole experience fell short was 1) the hotel has a large corporate feel to the atrium and lacks the charm of other Four Seasons city hotels. 2) Rooms are small. Only a single sink in the bathroom despite having two beds. At this price, I expect double sinks with decent counter space. 3) Rooms are loud. There was an adjoining door and I could hear the conversation all night long of the party going on next-door despite stuffing towels in the crack. The next day, the manager kindly arranged for us to switch rooms (again great customer service)… and we were told that this would not have a door to the adjoining room… unfortunately, when we returned at the end of the day to our new room, we found that it did have an adjoining door and again we could hear our neighbors although they were not as loud. 4) I thought the folks at the concierge desk were less than helpful. For example, our flights were canceled due to inclement weather. We were hoping that the concierge could help us contact the airline company for assistance, but they said we would have to call ourselves. Also no unique insights - everything they suggested in terms of where to eat or things to do was a little generic. 5) Pool is small On the whole, still a positive experience. I do think, though, that most people would not find that this hotel is worth the price point

The Four Seasons in Sydney was the perfect choice to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was delightful and the staff really looked after us exceptionally well. Will definitely be back!

Impeccable service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I booked Four Seasons Hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday Lin Lu on 20/06/26 but he was unable to come and I couldn’t cancel the booking that I made through Amex. There were hiccups as in their database i booked from Expedia when I booked through Amex travel but that was sorted promptly and professionally. Beatrice the front staff helped to resolve this and gave me a late check out until 1pm. She explained that I must have chosen Expedia instead of Fhcr hence I didn’t get the full benefit including free breakfast. So next time I need to book and choose fhcr when booking through Amex. In the morning I paid $132.47 for breakfast at Mode kitchen for both of us instead. The birthday cake still arrived as Flour the lady was so sweet and delivered the cake to our room 1116. It was a choc strawberry mousse cake and it was delish. Matheo the breakfast attendant was very helpful as my friend Viv kept asking him to help heat croissants, get a hot water etc and he never said no. The two ladies at Mode kitchen also very helpful as my friend wanted to pay for herself but I wanted to pay for both of our breakfast becoz I’m currently going through a rough time and she has been staying accompanied me for two solid days from morning so it’s the least I could do is to pay for our breakfast. The two ladies helped to make it somewhat discreet as my friend kept asking “do u have to pay extra” I kept trying to blink blink and told her no no it was meant to be included already as I do stay in hotels like this before and breakfast is usually included so don’t worry about payment. Anyway it’s been great. Everybody’s service is very Impeccable. Even to the swimming pool attendant who had the initiative to ask if I need help or assistance with anything. The lady at the spa who offered me the slipper as I left my slipper in the swimming pool. Our 1116 room was also made up when we went out for a swim during the day yesterday. We also had early check in. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOURSEASONS HOTEL. You made my life felt more brighter in the midst of thorns in my heart due to the recent incident that happened to my husband.

The perfect stay at Four Seasons Sydney

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Our family stayed for 3 nights at Four Seasons Sydney, and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and had a wonderful selection of mini bar snacks and drinks. The sofa bed was also very comfortable. Mode bar and grill had a wonderful selection for breakfast, with wonderful dumplings and a wide array of juice selections. Check in and check out was quick and easy, and all staff was wonderful and attentive. Overall, a beautiful property with very close access to the circular quay station and ferries, as well as The Rocks, the Sydney Opera House, and Vivid Sydney. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great location, big room

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons Sydney. We stayed at a studio room, good for 3 people. It was big and spacious, with two double beds, a sofa and table, and a dining table and couch. It also had a closet and big bathroom. Great location near the tram, shops, restaurants, and cafes. Breakfast had a moderate selection of staple food. Staff friendly and helpful. When we went outside Sydney, we were able to store some luggage with them and get it back after.
