We had the most amazing suite, comfortable stay and were treated so special from the moment of our arrival. We loved it and would highly recommend this luxury hotel to anyone that appreciates the finer side of life! Thanks to all the staff! Grazie!

We had one night (I wish it had been more!) at this lovely hotel. We arrived feeling slightly fraught, as the road up the hill to Villa Ducale is not suitable for nervous drivers! However, immediately upon arrival, Daniel came out to greet us, arranged for our bags to be taken to our room, and directed us to the restaurant for a welcome drink. At this point, Max appeared with drinks and snacks and, as we looked out onto the beautiful bay below us, with a Prosecco in hand, we began to relax. After a delicious lunch, Daniel talked us through a very helpful map of the area and then showed us to our room. The room was lovely, but the terrace was the star of the show! We had apparently been upgraded (as we are members of Small Luxury Hotels) and as a result our room had a large terrace, with sun beds, looking directly over the bay. It was blissful, sitting there just enjoying the view. Everything about this hotel was wonderful: the beautiful interiors, the food, the views…. The complementary mini-bar was also much appreciated. What we really noticed though, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was so friendly and warm, and it was clear that they all take great pride in their hotel. Our stay was much too short, but we enjoyed every moment. We hope to return next year, for a longer stay!

Fantastic, comfortable hotel, that makes the most of its utterly amazing location. The views of Etna and the coast are gorgeous. The breakfasts are a foody delight. The free shuttle is a thoughtful and somewhat vital extra when it comes to getting back up the hill!

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, in a perfect location for both views and connivence with the town. The room was incredibly comfy and the turn down service every day made it a joy to stay in. But what truly makes this hotel is the staff, they were so attentive and always wanted to make the stay as special as possible. My partner and I will be returning each year!

VIEW VIEW VIEW. Crazy drive up to the hotel and strongly recommend you valet your car if you are driving, but worth the effort. Staff are just beautiful, so welcoming and helpful, and did I mention the views? We had a wonderful two days here in a suite with a small terrace. Room was a bit tired, but very comfortable. The free soft drinks etc in the mini bar is a lovely and appreciated touch. The common areas of the hotel are just beautiful, with many spots to sit and enjoy the view. We had a delicious dinner there and breakfast was also good. Highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Taormina. Thank you especially to Julianna.
