We stayed for 3 nights in mid November. The hotel is well located in the town only minutes from the main street. We were given a welcome drink whilst being checked in and then we went a short tour of the hotel. It has all the facilities you need but everything is on the small side, including our room. The breakfast was nice with options to order eggs etc. a la carte but service was hit and miss. Overall I was happy with our stay, but would not want to be there for longer than a few days.

Stayed at the nh collection for 4 nights on a short break to Sicily. Hotel in an excellent location at the top of the town. Easy walk to many restaurants, cafes, shops and sightseeing in the town. Hotel is at top of town everywhere else is downhill so be prepared for a leisurely walk uphill. Easy walk to cable car to take you down to beach area. Didn’t use hotel much for food. breakfast (large buffet selection) and drinks only. Service very good, rooms very clean and comfortable. Valet parking of car but costs €30/night which actually cost less than leaving in town car parks overnight. Excellent visit to Taormina.

Nice hotel in good location. Whilst staff were very friendly, at times there were not enough of them. Breakfast food was not replenished quickly enough and considering we were in Sicily, our first cappuccinos left a lot to be desired - more hot milky coffee than cappuccinos. However, to be fair, after complaining subsequent cappiccinos were fine.

For me, the NH Collection is probably the bestest choice for us as it’s right at the centre, luxurious and decorated in a modern and classy style. There are other luxury hotels in Taormina too - but they tend to be a bit old fashioned - except the Metropole which could be another good choice but we loved the NH Collection in Roma and Barcelona so we made our decision based on past experience. We stayed at the presidential suite and the staff were obviously friendly and helpful. The room is beyond spacious with a big terrace which had a jacuzzi and 4 loungers! We arrived quite late due to a few unfortunate events during that day but was still greeted with comforting smiles and possibly more importantly, a bowl of nice fruits and a bottle of champagne..... The hotel is literally few minutes walk from the only ‘Main Street’ in Taormina which was handy as my case was delayed (by days..) and I could jump down to the shops to get few bits daily after breakfast. The hotel has valet parking as otherwise it’s impossible to park in Taormina in general, limited space and hilly. Back to the room, it has separate living area and toilets and bathing rooms and a dressing area. One big bath and the shower has steam room function which didn’t quite work out when I tried. Breakfast was plentiful as you would expect but we didn’t get the chance to try the Rosso Collection restaurant on the top floor on this occasion. Overall, really enjoyed our stay at NH and would recommend it for a romantic getaway!

We left our booking so late that the only availability was the Presidential Suite. However, a couple of things weren't quite up to that standard. First, your private terrace off the suite is not private. The suites are on the third floor, so seven more floors of hotel look straight down onto your terrace. Also, the switch for the terrace lights is not in the room, but down in reception. Finally, housekeeping was patchy - eg some towels taken but not replaced with new towels, crockery & glassware just rinsed in the basin, rather than replaced with fresh items... However, the hotel location is fantastic, the staff were super-friendly and helpful, the pool area is very stylish, the gym was small but good, the breakfast was fabulous. Overall, a very pleasant stay (but not worth the money for the Presidential Suite).
