Be sure to plan time for a massage by Laura! After 12 days of travel in Sicily I was ready for a great massage, and Laura provided it. Not speaking the same language is no barrier. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Taormina. My Florida body needed a re-start after all the stairs and she provided it. All the other staff were friendly and helpful. The design is modern and visually beautiful. But my standard room was a functional nightmare. Only one outlet for all my Apple equipment in the sleeping room. Closet is designed to hold a suitcase but hard to find an additional location for the other. And the closet light did not stay on when I opened the door. Nor could I make it stay off. The bathroom sink is big, but there’s not much room on the sides for personal stuff. No place to hang towels or wash cloths. Rain shower is excellent but the space for overflow is very slippery. No way to have a small light stay on in the bathroom at night. A challenging mix of doors in there.

From the moment of our arrival until departure, we were greeted and treated by the most friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff. The hotel itself was well appointed and updated with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. All amenities you needed in the room were there. We had a breathtaking panoramic view of Taormina and the ocean from our balcony. The included breakfast was delicious with many offerings to choose from. The location was perfectly situated, just slightly off the beaten path, but very walkable to all the shops and restaurants. All the staff were exceptional, but I need to give a special thank you to Angelo, doorman extraordinaire, who somehow always appeared whenever you needed him, always friendly and eager to help. Also, to Sarah, the hotel’s concierge, who always had a smile on her face and made exceptional arrangements and recommendations. It is because of them that our stay exceeded our expectations and we would welcome the opportunity to return.

Fantastic hotel and super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are very quiet and the breakfast is great. The location is also excellent with it being very close to the high street (Corso Umberto) and a 6 minute walk to the amphitheatre.

NH Collection has a great and central location in Taormina. We got excellent service by front desk staff during our stay. Breakfast was tasty and breakfast room was very clean and the waiters were very friendly and polite. We would definitely stay there anytime again.

This hotel is very nice, modern, and well-located for exploring center of Taormina. Easy access to main Pedestrian walkway, Corso Umberto, with lots of shops, restaurants, etc. Bountiful breakfast and a beautiful rooftop area for views to die for. Unfortunately, there were no employees serving drinks. What a pity! The double room was very small...Not much room for suitcases even though there was a closet. Bathroom lacks hooks and vanity space, but modern. All in all, I probably would not have chosen this property. I was on a tour.. Much too small a space for 2 to share.
