Amazing! I must admit it was very hard to find the hotel. We flew in a night time and they have small sign that says indura. Once we finally found the hotel, everything was amazing! Every single person at this hotel made us feel like royalty. I’m gonna name some people and hope I’m not forgetting anyone. Cesar, who checked us in at midnight, Rachel from the front desk, Wilmer from the main bar, Allegra from the restaurant, Benedict, food and beverage supervisor, Sochi, the food and beverage manager, and Jonathan😍 from the restaurant. This was definitely a 5 star secluded getaway!

One restaurant and one bar open (with same menu at both places) no changes in menu daily. So if you're there for more than a few days, you can get bored with the food options. Service is very slow. Don't be surprised to see several staff milling around while you're waiting just to be seated. Food is inconsistent. Ordered the same thing for dinner and it tasted and looked different. For a somewhat big resort, amenities were few (i.e., few dining options, hotel store didn't sell suntan lotion). It certainly didn't help there was a large wedding at the time of our visit, so everyone was focused on that and not the other guests. For instance, the beach area couldn't be used b/c they were erecting a tented area for the wedding reception. So even if we wanted to go there and order food that wasn't an option. Grounds/supplies could use maintenance. Some of the cabanas had quite a bit of fungus on it that could be cleaned up. And some of the chairs in the lobby area were starting to come undone. Good for a night or two but I wouldn't stay any longer.

This will be a long review with Subtitles so feel free to jump to the section of your interest. Security: The hotel security team is great. Immediately when you drive up to the resort they ensure that you are actually on the hotel list before letting you onto the property. Throughout the day and night they are patrolling the area and beach. It is also important to note that Tela is one of the safest places to visit in Honduras. Reception: You are greeted with a delicious welcome drink. The wonderful front receptionists provide you with a map of the property as well as a list of the amenities and even tour options. Their English skills are great and they are super helpful with any question that you may have. The Beach: Pristine and relaxing. The first day we spent 4 hours on the beach and lost track of time completely. They have cabanas and a nice covered deck area along with a beach bar. The hotel: Is comprised of 32 bungalows with 4 rooms to each bungalow 2 up top and 2 below. We got upgraded to an ocean front room. The view and the sounds from the top deck were amazing. It was extremely beautiful and tranquil to wake up to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. One morning we spent on the deck enjoying the sights and sounds. Spa: We had two spa treatments on our 7 day stay. We had the couples Coconut massage which was relaxing my skin was moisturized and bright at the end of this massage. A few days later I had the mud wrap my first time having mud wrap it was pleasant but I forgot mud is cooling I was very happy to have my outdoor shower to remove the mud. My husband for his second had the Indura massage he won’t admit it but he was snoring it was that good! The spa facility is immediately tranquil and puts you into a mode of zen they great you with a welcome foot wash that has a mix of coffee and mud. I was so pleased with the welcome and the facilities I immediately booked our second massages. The ladies were wonderful and professional Dining: Saved the best for last. The menu is Americanized however thanks to another review on TripAdvisor and our wonderful bar tender Wilmer the chef was gracious to whip up several traditional Honduran meals. Kisses fingers the off the menu meals were DELICIOUS!!!! Brenda, Mario and Johnathan were the most accommodating and helpful of individuals every suggestion they made was wonderful. Brenda, Mario and Wilmer helped me plan a wonderful birthday surprise for my husband for his 41st birthday. My husband was blown away with their creativity and the special catered meal the Chef prepared. Overall Takeaway: I recommend this facility and look forward to returning. Keep in mind to me this is what I consider a relaxing getaway. If you are in need of a vacation to unplug this is the place.

Can’t say enough good things about Indura. We came with our six kids for three nights and enjoyed a great stay. The food was great. I am a little confused by other reviews that say the food is terrible. The kids loved the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful and the grounds are just gorgeous.

I'll break it down in key points: 1) Golf Course: The golf course is absolutely beautiful and well kept. If you're an avid golfer, you're gonna love this part of the resort as the golf course was designed by an award winning designer. Its also part of a wildlife preserve so you get to see all kinds of animals while you golf. 2) Beach: The private beach is beautiful with a bar and a perfect view. The waves get really aggressive at times but that's part of the beauty of it. Quick Tip: take a boogie board or a surf board to catch the waves and really get the bang for your buck. 3) Room: The rooms are beautiful with a modern look, great TV Cable, perfect bathroom design and a terrace with a view of the ocean 4) Hotel Spa: The spa is top notch with various massages available. If you're going with your SO, get the couples massage..highly recommended! 5) Pool: The pool is one of the main attractions of the hotel, with various infinity pool sections that make it a spectacle to behold. 6) Food: The food is absolutely HORRIBLE. The lowest quality. I don't give the hotel a perfect score because of the food. You'd think since it's a Hilton hotel the food quality would be up to par but it is not. My recommendation is to take food with you, some bread, cheese and turkey and feast on some subs while you're there. The restaurant is beautiful to sit and look at but the food is horrible. 6)
