My husband and I spent a week at the resort. We were taken care of from the moment we arrived at the airport. We arranged transportation with the hotel. We received welcome drinks upon arrival to the resort. Dacyl, at the front desk, was great. The chefs (Jose and Jesus) prepared special vegan meals for us after they found out we were vegan. All of the staff in the restaurant were excellent (Brenda, Estefany, Jonathan, Alejandra, Daniel, Claudia, and Gabriela). Andres was also a great help and made our vacation special. Our room was perfect. We had an ocean view and it was very clean and well maintained. We had turn down service every night along with a special dessert. They had many activities to keep us busy. On the weekend they had more activities for children. It was so peaceful and beautiful. This is a perfect resort for any type of traveler. We plan on returning with friends.

A great place for a weekend. Staff is just amazing. The pool is great. Not big but enough for kids and adult to have a swim. Beach is just few meters away from pool. For the restaurant, it took them some time to bring the food, I can asurre it is one of the best restaurant inTela. I highly recommend it. By the way it has one of the best golf field in the region.

This was our second time and the first since Hilton took over. The check in was smooth but never received our welcome drink. The rooms was just as remembered huge and pretty just like the property. Huge plus that they are actually spraying for those pesky bugs that bite you through out the day and no they are not mosquitoes. So due take Deet bug spray. Pool as relaxing as we remember but all of the seating areas at the pool falling apart and with fungi. A shame since wood pieces here are readily made and available. They lack customer service and almost all the great servers we had on our last visit are gone. I had to call the Food and Beverage manager which had us wait 25 min before she came over to take out complain about a 2 hour wait for 2 quesadillas for the kids. 1hr 25min for a plain cheese pizza. The hotel is not in high season so they must have had a major breakdown in the kitchen with the staff but did not give the guest the courtesy of letting us know. Alejandra the F&B manager made sure we did not wait the following days and I saw her actually helping her staff. They do need more training and more staff. The cleaning of sheets as you will see on pic my duvet had mold yes mold and the TV in the room did not work as every time the power goes out if a guest doesn't ask they don't reprogram the TV which should be on the housekeeper checklist. The golf grounds are fantastic but even being a member they did not even treat member any better. HILTON you must invest in this gem of a resort with your hospitality your loosing business.

We spent 5 days in mid February. The hotel was not crowded, but became a little busier on the weekend with local toursits on day passes. This is a perfect place to decompress and disconnect from the world. We recommend the hotel's contract shuttle service, a clean mini-van driven by Adonai, who will get you there and back, on time, for about $172 (roundtrip). The hotel grounds are lush, green and well kept, the beach is well cared for, and room had an outstanding view (ocean front, second floor). You will see monkeys, iguana, and other animals on the grounds and the associated golf course. Our room (ocean front, king suite) was very large with a huge balcony (with furniture) to enjoy the ocean view and breeze. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping it clean. The front desk, bar tenders, and beach staff were exceedingly friendly, attentive, and accomodating. The restaurant was good for breakfast and fine for lunch. The dinner menu was limited, average at best for quality, so we only ate there one evening. The only reason that I did not rate the hotel a 5 is due to the restaurant. We recommend going into Tela for dinner. The front desk will arrange a taxi from town ($25 for roundtrip) - be sure to ask for Jesus Peraza. He is a great driver and very personable. He's a great tour guide and his recommendations are spot on. Notes: 1) Everyone accepts USDs, but it is difficult to break 20s, 50s and 100s, so take plenty of ones and fives for tipping. 2) We saw no examples of violence and never felt in danger during the drive to the hotel (1.5 hours), at the hotel, or during or our evenings in Tela.

Indura Beach & Golf Resort is a sprawling resort that sits on 26 miles of Tela Bay on Honduras' northern coast. Overall it's a great resort with a large and relaxing pool, spacious rooms, and proximity to the beach where the water is crystal blue and a good temperature for swimming. I was in Tegucigalpa for work recently and decided to escape the city for a few days of sun and relaxation at Indura. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. I was really impressed with my room, which had a king size bed, a private balcony, and a large bathroom. My single room was actually more like a suite. The resort is also located in the middle of a nature preserve so there are iguanas, lizards, and birds all over, plus lots of adventure outings that guests can choose from. As I stated before, overall it's a luxurious resort and guests will enjoy the time they spend there. Still, there are a few things to be aware of. 1. The hotel can provide transportation to pick you up from and drop you off at the San Pedro Sula airport. However, it is a 1.5-hour long ride (despite the claim on the website that it's 50 minutes), and it will cost you $150 for a round trip. 2. As some other reviews have stated, there's only one restaurant and bar, both with the same menu. The menu is a bit disappointing because not only has it been Americanized, it's more like an American children's menu with options pizza, chicken fingers, and hamburgers. This seems like a missed opportunity since they are located right on the water and should have access to spectacular seafood. I was expecting a variety of ceviche dishes, calamari, lobster, etc. The food was definitely the most disappointing part of the resort. 3. The resort definitely needs to increase signage. The resort is huge with something like 31 different houses, each with 4 hotel rooms, plus a gym and a spa. It's very disorienting when you first arrive, and it can be a bit difficult to find the building you are looking for. 4. It may seem like a small thing, but I would recommend getting toilet paper holders for the bathrooms. As it is, the rolls sort of precariously balance on the railing running along the wall. Still, despite some room for improvement, I think the resort is very well done and I would recommend it to a friend traveling to Honduras.
