Our 4-night stay at the Inn at Lost Creek was perfect in every way. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed like royalty. After a bumpy first night -- not the Inn's fault -- we were quickly offered an upgraded room for a (more than fair) price on a higher floor. We're light sleepers, and the noise on the lower floor from people returning late at night, followed by snow equipment before sunrise, was difficult. If this would be an issue for you, request a room on the 6th-8th floor. Matt, the front desk manager, was exceptional. Always available, professional, and helpful. The entire staff from the front desk, porters, restaurant and cleaning crew were friendly and accommodating. When our truck didn't start the morning of our departure (cold weather), the kind bellman quickly came to our rescue. The location is perfect; right in the center of Mountain Village. Ski in-out and ski valet was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was by far the best I've ever had. Something different every day. Still crave the smoked salmon and mini souffles. We didn't try the Thai restaurant for dinner; there are so many options a short walk away, or a fun gondola ride. Be sure to ride the gondola at night -- views are breathtaking. We were spoiled with the 2-bedroom condo which had every convenience one could want for our family of four. Beds were heavenly. Cookware was good quality. The outdoor hot tub can be reserved so it's private, but it was a little too hot for us (104 degrees). However the steam bath in our room was the perfect alternative -- a real treat after a cold day skiing. I think they're included in most rooms. The workout room is small, but the hotel partners with The Peaks which has a larger workout room overlooking the mountains, nice spa, and even a small water slide into the indoor/outdoor pool. You can use these facilities, and they're within walking distance. The bar is small and drinks are pricey (it's Telluride), but again -- many other places to go, or buy/bring your own. The Market at the bottom of the Gondola has a great selection of groceries (again -- $$$. It's Telluride.) We've stayed at several other fine hotels in Mountain Village, but the Inn at Lost Creek is our new home in Telluride. Reserve it well in advance of ski season if you can afford to roll the dice on the snow. With only 30 rooms, this little gem fills up quickly.

We are a family of four with two teenagers and despite our intentions to try other ski locations - we all agree -we want to return to Telluride for so many reasons. We usually stay at the Inn at Lost Creek- which is clean, has an amazingly kind staff who make your stay a friendly, peaceful and a need free vacation , rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. They have a wonderful breakfast - with healthy choices and an amazing staff. Jen the general manager has been there every year and has watched our kids grow and always remembers us. Jarret who helps at the front desk is always helpful with dinning reservations, skies, car valet and couldn’t be kinder and more helpful. In addition Carmine have your skies ready for you in am and sets your boots on the warmer warmand skies for your next day of skiing so no worries on schlepping them after a long day of skiing. It’s a ski in ski out location with hot tubes in the facility. The are also connected to the Peeks spa resort which in and of itself is amazing. Dave the manager also remembers us year after year. They have an amXing lap pool and gym. They have great yoga and Pilates classes and wonderful steam and hot tops . Hot tub both in and outside. This is all part of your Inn at Lost Creek stay- amazing and why it’s hard to leave and go to other ski resorts.

What an awesome inn!! We were warmly welcomed by the front desk when we arrived, and no matter who was working the desk, we were greeted every time we passed by. The room was so comfortable. The amenities of chocolates, orchids, foot massage lotion, bath salts, make-up removers, fruit, Italian water, and coffee was above and beyond what we expected. Every morning our breakfast buffet was delicious - especially the Greek Yogurt, the salmon, and the Caprese. The special of the morning was also fantastic every day. The women who work there were so cheerful and accommodating. The ski valet is perfect for skiers. The staff who work there are also friendly and helpful. All is all, this was an incredible inn that went above and beyond to make your stay a fabulous one!

The Inn at Lost Creek was incredible. The location for us was unbeatable. We had an amazing time, the whole time! Everyone was kind at the Inn, and extremely attentive/helpful. When my husband had a fever, they got us a thermometer; when we wanted soda, they offered to go to the market. When we came back after a long day of play, they always asked about our day, and asked if we needed anything. We stayed 8 nights, 9 days, and enjoyed every second at the Inn,. Thanks for an unforgettable trip!
