Great getaway
The ultimate getaway in Temecula. So many amenities , great rooms and beautiful grounds. The walking paths through the vineyards are beautiful and so relaxing. Also has a resort style pool area and top notch spa.

Wine country ambiance but very run down
Ambiance and location is perfect. Rooms are very outdated, housekeeping is not good, cleanliness could be better for the price of the rooms. Poolside food was terrible. Very nice spa which is great with wine! Been coming here over 20 years and thought we’d give it another chance but sadly we will not be back. Chairs at the pool and very old and uncomfortable.

Excellent experience
Beautiful resort surrounded by vineyards. Great amenities. The villas are a great experience, give you privacy. have a patio and a great bathroom. THe on-site restaurant is very good. All the staff was helpful and friendly.

Did not live up to our expectations
They seem to have strict check in policy and not even at 3:30pm have your room ready. Room service is bad, plastic to go containers and bland flavors for plates sold at $42 each. I had high expectations of enjoying the villa with my husband, sitting outside with the nice view sipping wine while enjoying a lovely dinner as normally presented at nice resorts: actual ceramic plates covered with metal lids with food nicely presented. Instead the food was all collapsed in a togo plastic container. Bathtub had some mold and needed to be cleaned better. We booked through Chase Travel and were not entitled to the free wine bottle they give guests who book directly with them but the staff gave us a bottle anyways which was a very nice gesture. That and the views were the highlight of the stay which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1.

Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. The villa was beautiful, spacious, extremely comfortable, and surrounded by lovely vineyard views. The entire resort was peaceful and relaxing, and the staff made us feel very welcome. It was the perfect place for a wine-country getaway, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!

What a great trip! This hotel is right in the middle of SoCal wine country - a perfect location. The villas are so nice, and perfect for a relaxing, low-key weekend getaway. The food was excellent and the spa was so nice, and very accommodating. And then there is the wine - surprisingly good! Altogether a great long weekend.
