Excellent hotel all around. Spotless and updated rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to Tempe restaurants. Airport shuttle was very convenient. Loved this place.

Beautiful hotel! Okay bed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful courtyard, the palm trees everywhere and nice outdoor pool set up. The room also felt very comfortable in terms of size and decor. Both the overall hotel and room may need a bit of updating here and there but nothing that detracts from the beauty and peacefulness of the hotel. The hotel is even in the landing and takeoff pattern of nearby Sky Harbor Airport, and it didn’t take away from our stay there (although it’s particularly loud during takeoff in the morning by the pool). There is a restaurant where you can get omelette made right there in front of you, and the buffet options are all very fresh. They even had fixings to make avocado toast. Unfortunately I have to give a 4 instead of a 5 because sleep / bed quality is so important to me, and the bed was quite soft for my husband and me, and not comfortable. During my last night I finally tried sleeping in the middle of the bed ( it was a king size) and it was a bit better, confirming that it wasn’t just a pillow top issue but an older sunken mattress .

Not All That Good - Try the Westin or Other Properties in the Area

TMP has gone downhill a bit in the past years. The hotel is no longer focused on guest or client satisfaction. Money seems to drive everything. Rates are ridiculously high. Mill Ave. has gone downhill with no good restaurants replacing PF Changs or Gordon Biersch, etc. Hotel property is still nice, but attitudes have changed to money first, clients second. There are other properties that are newer and are competitive close to that location. Basic employees are still good. Don't hold an event there as they will look our for themselves and not for the client. Unless you are wealthy and can pay them whatever they want. Sad.

Great place to stay in Tempe

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Beautiful venue in a fantastic location! The peaceful ambiance makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the best features is the charming patio where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast while listening to the soothing sounds of birds chirping—such a serene way to start the day. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and every detail is well thought out. Absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil yet convenient retreat. Can’t wait to visit again!

Luxury and location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Best location , The hotel property is in the heart of Tempe, restaurants, bars, tacos, pharmacy and everything else was within walking distance, next to mayor road and expressways, and if you are in for a college football weekend trip , the ASU in just down the street, however the hotel is so luxurious you don’t feel like you’re inna college town, I strongly recommend this property.
