Wonderful hotel and great location. The court yard is so peaceful and well maintained. It was nice to have a bar/restaurant pool side that you could order from your cabana.

This was a Great location. We were close to the airport, within 15 minutes to Chandler and the Gila River Casino, close to the stadium for Spring Training baseball game. We also loved the Italian Restaurant close by.

Lovely stay. Welcoming, warm staff. Clean, comfortable and nice rooms. Solid breakfast. Pool area feels run down and needs a facelift. Otherwise, highly recommend!

It's rare you return to any hotel property for over 2 decades, so I am particularly well-placed to put the current situation into context. This hotel long relied on business conferences, weddings, and University-related guests. It has always charged premium prices due to its excellent location, dazzling courtyard, Unfortunately two of our last three stays here have seen a precipitous decline in the quality of the experience. In addition to the staffing travails that are endemic throughout the industry, TMP faces serious challenges in getting our business back. They have in the post-COVID period seemingly increased their reliance on youth travel sports groups. This has led to a terrific strain on their resources, a decline in the usability of the facilities, and a general end to the sense that one is in an "oasis" of any sort. If you are going to have dozens and dozens of pre-teens and teenagers in the pool area for example, there needs to be a change to the lack of supervision. Even the best-supervised group of kids that large is going to degrade the experience for the other patrons. And needless to say most of those groups are not well supervised in circumstances like these. There is an increasing disconnect between the premium room rates and an ever-more "value" experience that has us reconsidering our decades-long loyalty to this lovely property. Cracks in the infrastructure of the hotel, shoddy elements such as the lowest-quality paper goods in lieu of glassware, and the obvious lack of adequate resources to handle the volume of guests are really taking the shine off a location for which my friends and I have so much fondness. I would not suggest avoiding TMP altogether. It remains conveniently located for ASU-related visits, spring training, or general vacationing. The staff is just terrific, and many have been there a long time. The courtyard is beautiful and one-of-a-kind, even if it isn't quite as serene as it could be. But I would recommend looking into what events may coincide with your stay and tempering expectations a bit about some aspects of the experience.

I had a great stay at Tempe Mission Palms. The service stood out right away. Everyone I interacted with was warm and welcoming in a way that felt real and not over the top. The hotel was also incredibly clean. Every space felt well cared for, which made a big difference in overall comfort. I really appreciated the clear commitment to sustainability. There were thoughtful options like multi-use cups and the ability to opt out of daily towel washing, all without compromising cleanliness or quality. You could also feel a real sense of pride from the staff, which reflects its status as a union hotel. That pride showed up in the level of care throughout the experience. The food was a pleasant surprise. Conference food can be hit or miss, but everything I had was excellent. Overall, 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.
