Beautiful resort with helpful and attentive team

We stayed here for 5 nights on vacation in early September. I was very pleased with this FS and would highly recommend. It wasn’t perfect, but in areas they fell short they quickly made up for it and check in often to ensure everything was ok. Room: B+ The rooms are updated and quite spacious. Despite our room overlooking the front driveway, we never heard any noise from outside, or inside for that matter. It was one of the quietest hotel rooms I’ve ever had. In fact one night apparently had loud thunder, we never heard a thing! Nice large closets with enough hangers. However, two things about the rooms we did not like: 1) The A/C is on sensors and at night it shut off and the room got very hot. Maintenance came by to look at it and make adjustments and it got better as our stay went on. But this is a common problem in hotel rooms that rooms get warm at night. 2) Smaller issue but design flaw: the safe is high up on a shelf in the closet and you need to be 7 ft tall to see into it. We were worried to put stuff in there for fear we wouldn’t be able to get anything out, or see it before we left. Put safe’s at eye level! Grounds/Hotel Design: A The hotel is beautiful inside and out and loved the luxurious but rustic design. Location: A It’s about a 15/20 min drive to downtown Jackson but being in Teton Village also gives you access to many restaurants and casual food options, plus shops. We preferred being in Teton village as it’s closer to the Park entrance. The tram is right out the back of the resort and in winter the ski trails are literally right there. Housekeeping: B+ The first day they never came to our room despite us being gone 9-4. I called to complain and they were very apologetic and the team came early each day after and checked in by text each day, which I appreciated. Staff: A Special shout out to the valet team, they hustled for the cars we never waited more than a few minutes. But all the waitstaff, front desk, spa team, and concierge staff were pleasant and helpful. Spa/Gym: A Had a great massage and there is nice indoor whirlpool. No outside waiting area but makes sense due to the weather. The gym is not overly large but has all the equipment you need. Food: A- We did room service one night, The Steakhouse one night, and did breakfast each day. Breakfast portions are small but the food good and it’s a large menu. Dinner was delicious however the steakhouse kitchen was slow and the wait staff kept commenting they didn’t know why. They comped us the dessert for the delay. For our day to Yellowstone the kitchen put together a to-go breakfast that we could pick up at the front desk at 5:45. it took a bit of back and forth to nail this down and wasn’t as seamless as I like, but in the end worked out. Definitely a great option in Jackson Hole!

Not a luxury experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We visited with a large family group, and they made no effort to put us next to or near each other. We have two small children and we’re out on the second floor while their grandparents were on the seventh. The second floor feels like a dungeon, our window was right next to the street and somehow all of the natural light was obstructed by the trees but still allowed for people to clearly see us driving by. The suite we booked was not as pictured online and significantly smaller. We asked to be moved closer to the grandparents. They told us they had a room with two double bed with a view on the seventh floor. When we arrived at that room we found out the view was of the front entrance driveway. Also the bathtub doesn’t work. They only gave us $500 hotel credit even though the room we are in is a significant downgrade from what we booked (we are staying 4 nights total). Overall, not impressed with this experience. The rooms with a valley view seem like the only tolerable rooms for the prices they are charging. This does not feel like the luxury experience I’d expect from a four seasons.

Four Seasons Jackson Hole !

Great location in Teton Village right in between the mountains with all the activities nearby. We have stayed in about six FS properties and this was by far the on the lower scale. Service and overall Four Seasons experience was not up to the par. Rooms were clean, big enough and comfortable. There was lack of energy in general with exception of a few folks. The front desk check in and out was more like a transaction. We dined at Handle Bar every day for break fast and every it seemed like a very basic restaurant. We were told they are opening steak house on July 14th and Handle bar is kind of fill in for food until time being. Had to wait a long time one of the days to get someone attend to us. On a positive note, a few of the folks made our stay a bit pleasant - Felix and Peter at front desk, Ava in housekeeping, Ben and Peter at Bell desk. Outside of this not a whole lot to mention.
