Hotel Terra was a great spot to stay in Teton Village. The location is very close to ski lifts, so I can't imagine it is wonderful during ski season. Being in the off-season of summer, we still enjoying the lovely crowns, playground in the back, heated pool, and proximity to restaurants. They are doing a lot of construction and renovation right now, so I am sure it will be even better when ski season rolls around. The rooms are actually timeshare condos, and they are very spacious. They have large Jacuzzi soaking tubs, coffee station, mini fridge, comfy beds. Breakfast is a small continental spread of pastries, yogurt, and fruit. We ended up going to eat at a nearby restaurant for breakfast instead. Over all would not hesitate to stay here again. It was very nice.

The Hotel Terra was the perfect place to stay while visiting Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. The staff at the Terra were helpful, efficient and friendly. Answering our questions and greeting us each day as we came and went on our daily adventures.

We ski every year with a group of families, and yes, our kids did stay next door at the Hostel! They wanted to room with friends and hang out with the younger crowd and they're all in their late teens/early twenties & responsible so it worked out really well. We rented a studio with a Murphy bed so we could have living space during the day, and it was terrific. Loved the little balcony, too. There was plenty of room for entertaining, a wonderful kitchen and the most interesting coffee maker you will ever find. The friends who weren't staying at the Terra were a little jealous, I must admit. The fireplace did not light and it was taken care of right away (pilot light was out). The rooftop adult spa was hard to access and too small. There was another small pool/large spa, but was not hot enough to really be a spa. Which is fine, but they really need another actual hot tub in that area, not just a warm swim pool for small children. If you want terrific spa facilities, their sister hotel- Teton Mountain Lodge just across the way- is a better choice. However, the Terra seems otherwise more upscale than the Mountain Lodge, it is smaller and and more luxurious. Again, I really loved the room itself. If I were not a spa-lover, I'd choose it again next year. I had a hard time giving the Terra four stars instead of 5.
