Must visit!!!
Thatch Caye is one of the best vacations we have taken! Luis and his staff are just incredible. From the overwater bungalow to the daily happy hour and family style meals where guests get to know one another, this is a must visit! Shakira, Dennis, Rafe and all the staff go out of their way to insure an enjoyable experience! Can’t rave enough about this wonderful place!

Family reunion in paradise
I can’t say enough good things about this trip. We came for a family reunion and brought a 1 year old and 4 year old. Getting there was coordinated extremely well. The rooms and island were PERFECT. Everything about the excursions were beyond beautiful and fun and memorable. But some of the best memories came from just being on the island, playing with all their amenities, and enjoying everything the staff did to make a flawlessly fun stay. It was truly paradise.

Amazing secluded island resort
Was an amazing experience. Lobster hunting, fishing (caught my first Mahi Mahi), eating the catch at dinner, cool island, wonderful staff, bungalow over water and family time.

AMAZING
What makes this resort so very special is the staff! Of course, the secluded island destination with bungalows over the water is a huge plus! Snorkeling with Raphi was the highlight of our honeymoon. Being greeted by Shakira, Logan and Jessica every day was heart-warming. Junior, Erwin, and Dennis really made it extra special with their humor and thoughtfulness behind the bar. The groundskeepers did an amazing job keeping the island spotless! Oh, and last but not least, Marley and Pica, the island dogs, provided us with furry hugs and kisses on days when we missed our own fur babies. Our honeymoon was a dream come true because of this phenomenal staff!

July 2026 Trip to Thatch Caye
We had the best time at Thatch Caye. It was our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Special thanks to Rafi, Hydo, Logan, Jessica, Jackson, Dennis, Junior, Luis and Erwin for making our stay so special. The food was delicious and we had the best time exploring. The snorkeling, fishing and lobster hunting was world class. We hope we can come back!
