Honeymoon of my dreams!!! Thank you to everyone on the staff for making our trip so memorable. Living on such a high and can’t wait to come back.

I could not be more pleased with my trip. My wife and I came for our honeymoon and we were treated like royalty. The staff, the food, the beach and excursions- It was all amazing!! Special thanks to Dennis, chef Denny, Ali, jaguar king (Raffe), Logan, junior, Jessica, Jackson, cleaning and massage staff. Already looking forward to coming back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Thatch Caye for 8 days and 7 nights, choosing the Premier Overwater Bungalow for extra privacy — and it absolutely delivered. The bungalow was clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the private deck gave us unforgettable views of sunrise, marine life right beneath us, and a night sky full of stars and the Milky Way. The staff at Thatch Caye is exceptional. Their attentiveness truly elevated our stay. When Luis noticed I was relying on my boyfriend’s phone hotspot, he surprised me with a dedicated hotspot phone to use for the rest of the trip. When I mentioned to Erwin that I’d never tried fresh dragon fruit, he handed me half of one on the spot. I also asked Erwin one afternoon to help take some pictures and a video of us which he happy assisted with. When we asked for ice, Logan brought us a full bucket. My boyfriend mentioned wanting daily coffee, and Luis arranged for a coffee maker, grounds, and filters to be delivered to our room. Erwin and Dennis made fantastic drinks, always greeted us by name, and kept the atmosphere fun and welcoming. Ali and Logan were also wonderful — though truly, every staff member we encountered was friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. And of course, the island dogs — Marley and Pico — were a highlight of our stay. We played with them daily, and Marley even joined us on the kayak and paddleboard. He often walked us back to our bungalow and lounged with us on the deck and inside. For excursions, we highly recommend the day snorkeling, night snorkeling, and the lobster hunt. The chef prepared our catch afterward, and it was one of the best meals of the trip. There were also daily happy hours with amazing snacks, and one afternoon we even saw dolphins playing in the distance. The only downsides — neither of which the resort can control — were the natural seagrass buildup around the island, which can create a sewage-like smell, and the sand flies. They seemed to love me even with bug spray, but that’s island life. Overall, it was a beautiful trip filled with amazing memories, and Thatch Caye delivered exactly the peaceful, intimate experience we were hoping for. I wanted to show my boyfriend why I love Belize, and now he knows.

My husband and I had the mot amazing honeymoon at Thatch Caye! The resort island was beautiful and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Every staff member was so nice and attentive, we really appreciated each interaction with them! Loved the family style lunches and dinners and getting to meet a variety of guests as they came to the island. It was a true paradise and we will definitely go back!

Great little private island with a very professional and accommodating staff. The chef (Danny) cooked amazing meals, and the bartenders (Dennis and Erwin) never disappointed with their drink options. Rafe (Hermit Crab Champion) was phenomenal at finding the lobster. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommend if you want a low-key, private island feeling with wonderful staff, great food and drinks (all inclusive).
