Crystal Mountain in Northen Michigan truly is a Four Seasons Paradies, with its challenging golf courses and a great varaity of skiing runs, granted it is the Rockies but there is enough variety to challenge any level of skier , only difference is the length of the runs, snow making and grooming every bit good as the Vails and Aspens. What is unique at Crystal Mt is that it is owned and managed be a family for families , Chris an Jim MacInnes, the second generation , Chris‘s father George Petriz an avid outdoors man parlayed his Petriz pie fortune and developed Christal Mt in the 50, starting with a rope tow Now you will find a first class resort with five star lodging , fine dining , a Spa that is renowned for its quality , golf with LPGA tournaments , skiing , meetings and conventions, during our recent stay we received outstanding service from Nick, Rich and Chelsea V Weyand

We stayed here for our anniversary and had a 1 bed condo in Pinehurst. The room was a little dated however it had everything you could need. The fireplace was great and the view of the golf course was great. The food was really good. We ate at the Thistle.

Great stay, great spa, great customer service. From beginning to end everything about this stay and the service we received was 2nd to none. Customer service can be a crap shoot nowadays but from reservations to check out we were amazed at the customer service level that Crystal Mountain seemingly strives to deliver. Can't wait to take the whole family back, worth the time, drive and $.

This review would not have been 5 stars without Amy at Registration. Having requested a view and king bed with our original reservation and getting neither with our initial accommodations, she quickly moved us to a Mountain Top, Valley View condo! She saved our trip! The view was fantastic- we couldn't even see another building from our private deck. The master bedroom had a king bed and very large, jetted tub. The full kitchen was very useful, as you have to drive or take the shuttle down to the restaurants from these condos. The chairlift ride to the haunted walk was great fun for $7. I would also recommend a trip to the spa. It is similar to a typical Ritz Carlton spa and the staff is very friendly. There is a ton to do. We were so impressed , we are planning a return family trip!

It was a gorgeous fall day, Crystal Mountain was hosting a mountain biking race, and it was their Halloween spook walk. Maybe this all explains why the lines were long and everything was so busy. Bought expensive Fall Fun Passes only to have to wait in line for nearly 2 hours to do the main activity..which only left an hour and half to do anything else. NOT WORTH IT. But can’t turn back once you already spent the money. Seemed under staffed considering the crowds. With that said, once we were able to do the activities, we enjoyed them. The chair ride lift to the top is breathtaking with the fall colors. Should have just done that and called it a day. Or stayed home.
