Were passed the 65-year-old stage in our lives but still want to ski. Crystal Mountain is a perfect place for us. We bought reasonable tow tickets online, arrived on a Monday skied up and down, no weight no lines. The Lodge was neat and clean. We skied for a few hours and walked around the resort in and out of the shops. All in all had a wonderful time at Crystal Mountain. Plan to return in the month of March for one more ski trip this year.

There is much to please the downhill skier at Crystal Mountain, but if you are a cross country skier, don't expect much. The $14 trail fee is by far the most I have ever paid to XCountry ski. And what I received for my money was several hours of skiing around sandtraps and other obvious golf course features. Its barren, no trees, for quite a while. There is only one way and in and out to the more interesting parts of the course -- and that way is flat and boring.

We have been going to Crystal for 33 years, now with adult children and grandkids. We have stayed everywhere at the resort:Interlochen,Cottages,Hamlet and Colony...all clean, comfortable and cozy. Ski instruction is geared to kids and beginners. We have also taken adult fall golf trips. Two courses on site and Arcadia an easy drive west. Good food, great staff...I even forgot my favorite pillow there...they found it and mailed it back UPS. No charge, no questions. Typical!

We had a wonderful weekend at Crystal Mountain resort with our family of 5. The resort condominiums were the perfect accommodations for our family, very clean and newly remodeled, but yet still very quaint and charming with an up north feel. The activities for the kids were great and they really enjoyed their ski/snowboard lessons and we enjoyed the variety of runs on the ski hills that fit our needs and skill level. We will definitely return for another family trip!
