Stayed at the INN at the Mountain. It is quiet, close to restaurants and the slopes. There are a lot of things to do along with a good selection of restaurants. Unfortunately, during the week, the restaurant selection is limited for dinner. The staff is always friendly and there is a nice variety of slopes.

So many options for lodging all good. Golf is over the top anything and everything you need. A little pricey but no need to leave the grounds. Golf in the summer ski in the winter. Mountain slide, camp fires, several places to eat.

This was a great time. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. We went with our two kids on our first ski trip ever and our only problem was that we wished we could have stayed for more days. The price really goes up when you add skiing, lessons, and rental of equipment. It makes the price of the room about double, but it is worth it and obviously, you are willing to pay it. The skiing was great and everyone was so helpful. Even the paperwork at the ski rental place was not too terrible to handle.

We spent 2 nights in a Wintergreen condo with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The condo was clean and beautiful. Having a full kitchen is a huge plus! The bedrooms were very cold no matter what we set the thermostat at, which made for a chilly first night. On night 2, we discovered the extra blankets and slept very comfortably. We were in a ground floor unit, which made it easy to bring our belongings in. The stairs leading to the upstairs unit were very loud. 3 of us spent the days on the slopes which were fantastic! Tons of snow, great trails and friendly staff. 1 of us went snowshoeing on the Otter Run trail which was gorgeous -- well groomed, lit at night and so peaceful. Also spent time at the Crystal Spa. The $20 off for houseguests was nice. I initially was put off by the prices but it ended up being well worth it. Not only was my Tranquil massage with Craig lovely, but I spent several more hours in the relaxation lounge, steam room, sauna and hot tub. We all had so much fun that we plan to return next winter!

First time ever we decided to spend Christmas with just our family of 5. Stayed at Crystal Mountain Resort in a condo. Located in the Wintergreen section, condo 507. For the most part condo was clean. It's a 2 bed/2bath unit. Says sleeps up to 6, with pull out sofa. We were a little cramped with 5. If you were to pull out sofa, no room to walk. Condo is nice and cute, but not designed well to accommodate 4+ people and snow gear. Tight entry way with a beam right as you walk in. Having 5 wet ski coats and pants, there is no were to properly let things dry without getting floor all wet and salty. Which I didn't want to do as I treat other peoples homes like my own, so we laid towels down. Strange clicking noise coming from inside the wall of both bedrooms, very loud, startled us at night and happens all day. Little miscommunication with a ski lesson for kids but they worked with us. If you're coming in winter, make sure to bring your grocery essentials. Market on site didn't sell bread or milk. Maybe coming during holiday wasn't best idea. Buffet at Wild Tomato breakfast was awesome. It's expensive here, be prepared! $800 to rent ski boots, helmets and skis for 5 people for 4 days, food and drinks super expensive. But it's a Resort and it's "out there" so you make do. We would come back but try to stay in cottage or bungalow. Only issue was cleaning lady came in with wet, muddy shoes and left salt all over. Who wants to step out of a shower onto a salty, dirty floor. It's very pretty here. Looks like they're updating areas.
