After an early flight I asked to leave my bags and was also able to check in a few hours early. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with perfect English. Room was beautiful and luxurious, incredible view of Tokyo with a labelled map/diagram by the window, even had 3 pin plug sockets and space in the fridge for my own food and drink. Restaurant was great, as was breakfast, the café was always full however it's 2 minutes from the metro and lots of choice for eating. Towels, bathrobe and (I think) sheets were all changed every day which sort of makes a mockery out of the green coin in the amenities box. English instructions for the iron and de humidifier would have been perfect and the area by the kettle was sightly cramped.

Granted, this hotel is more for international business travelers but we thought it was excellent for leisure as well. When we checked in, everything we requested was arranged. We made reservations for all of our restaurants ahead of time through the hotel. When we checked in, they handed us an envelope with all of our reservations confirmed with driving directions written in English and Japanese. A nice touch for international travelers that do not know Japanese. The staff and room were top notch. All comfortable in every way. If you have a chance, go to the morning breakfast buffet. Food as well as service was excellent.

This is a high quality hotel with very nice and spacious rooms and modern Japanese design- service is very classy and reliable and overall an excellent choice for business traveller. Even standard rooms offer ample space and nice design elements- lots of thoughts are put into details like a cloth refresher spray, great light options which you can control from various points and a decent Nespressomachine. Laundry service is very quick and picks up inside 3-5 minutes and delivers on the minute as forecasted. Check in and out are fast, polite and efficient. Subway in basement another great advantage and Akasaka restaurants and bars are just across the street.

Tokyo has a lot to offer but choosing a location to stay makes all the difference. The Capitol is by all means the place to stay if you plan to see, do and eat. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Convenient location and access to some of the best places to eat and see, like the fish market and shopping district. Next to a temple for added bonus. Room well appointed with high end finishing and fixtures. Also spacious and quiet. Highly recommended for picky travelers on business or special occasions.
