About the Hotel

The Tokyo Station Hotel operates in one of the world’s busiest railroad stations, but its grand hallways and rooms full of plush carpeting and chandeliers are rapturously silent. The hotel opened nearly a century ago and survived both the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II, one of the few buildings from that time period that remains. Cathedral ceilings, crown molding and heavy silk draperies give rooms a regal feel, and bathrooms are the size of a small Tokyo apartment. If the Marunouchi business district isn’t large enough to contain your wanderings, you’re in a good place: Train travel is clearly convenient.

Reviews for The Tokyo Station Hotel

Wonderful don’t miss it!!!

This is a lovely hotel with amazing service. The bed linens were so nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. It was wonderful location being right at the Tokyo station and very central. We cannot wait to come back. Also we left our jackets in the closet and staff went above and beyond to get them to us at our next location. Cannot say enough about the experience here. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay.

Very nice, but take note if you want Hilton Points!

Very nice hotel, great location, and wonderful concierge team. This is a Hilton related property, but you will not get Hilton points if you book on the hotel website - you would need to book through Hilton website to get Hilton points.

Beautiful hotel and perfect for our first night in Japan. Being met at the platform by the hotel staff was so good after travelling for so long and it was late. Room was a good size. The hotel is in a great location - close to the Imperial Palace

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at. I’ve traveled the world and stayed at all types of hotels. I’ve never seen such impeccable room cleaning ! The room is also incredibly comfortable with everything you need : air purifier, coat spray, daily slippers , sound proof windows etc the room attendant took 1 hour to clean the room and it was impressive. My second stay at the Tokyo station and would never stay anywhere else . It’s a treat and so worth it. Highly recommend!

No finer hotel.

The most exquisite hotel stay we've ever had. This hotel was perfection from entry to departure. We felt like celebrities. We booked last minute as we had an early train to Kyoto the next morning (this hotel is right next to Tokyo station so its super convenient). All that was left was a room with two twin beds...but again - the best stay ever. The beds were incredibly comfy, the room spotless, the bathroom amenities were amazing. We also were given a credit to their bar where we had the best time watching an expert bartender in action. The breakfast was simply phenomenal - so many options and unique bites to try, incredible display and service. The service was extraordinary. Loved it and would love to go back and stay longer.
