About the Hotel

The Tokyo Station Hotel operates in one of the world’s busiest railroad stations, but its grand hallways and rooms full of plush carpeting and chandeliers are rapturously silent. The hotel opened nearly a century ago and survived both the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II, one of the few buildings from that time period that remains. Cathedral ceilings, crown molding and heavy silk draperies give rooms a regal feel, and bathrooms are the size of a small Tokyo apartment. If the Marunouchi business district isn’t large enough to contain your wanderings, you’re in a good place: Train travel is clearly convenient.

The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing in Tokyo, as well as for traveling to other parts of Japan afterward. Being right next to Tokyo Station is a major draw for travelers.

I knew it was a hotel located inside Tokyo Station, but upon arrival, I was amazed by the beauty of the building and its historic atmosphere

The Tokyo Station Hotel helps you navigate through the chaos of Tokyo Station

First time we stayed at this historic hotel. We enjoyed it very much. Not only the location is great. The service level is comparable if not better than a lot of the other luxury hotels in Tokyo we stayed at before. One notable mention is their Meet & Greet service, of which they send a guest relation staff to the train station platform to assist you. We used the service on our way back from Kanazawa to Tokyo. Ms Miura, the guest relation staff, was most helpful in helping us to have a smooth transfer from the platform of Hokuriku Shinkansen to Narita Express platform with our stored luggage. It would not have been possible without her help. Special thanks to her.

I loved my stay in The Tokyo Station hotel. Everything about this hotel is beautiful. The service in this hotel is Impeccable. The decor and the spacious room suites made this establishment even more impressive. The staff and management are very lovely, professional and accommodating. They made our stay wonderful. It’s in a great location as well, right in Tokyo. The bar and restaurants are chill and relaxing. Very popular with great menu options. The hotel and Rooms are always clean and welcoming.
