The Tokyo Station Hotel operates in one of the world’s busiest railroad stations, but its grand hallways and rooms full of plush carpeting and chandeliers are rapturously silent. The hotel opened nearly a century ago and survived both the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II, one of the few buildings from that time period that remains. Cathedral ceilings, crown molding and heavy silk draperies give rooms a regal feel, and bathrooms are the size of a small Tokyo apartment. If the Marunouchi business district isn’t large enough to contain your wanderings, you’re in a good place: Train travel is clearly convenient.

This hotel met most of my expectations. My husband booked so it was a nice surprise to see it located in the very cool Tokyo Station. We checked in late (~9pm) so didn't have to wait. Had lovely room on 2nd floor of 4 story building facing front of the hotel. Place is very close to Imperial Palace (although we didn't go there). We stayed 2 nights waiting on our Shinkansen bullet train reservation. What impressed me the most was the positively awesome breakfast buffet. Dozens of freshly cooked Japanese items, a few western items. More than enough variety for many days! Beyond that, curious "smart toilet"; guess this sort of thing is common in Japan but I never encountered it before. Staff at hotel extremely helpful: my husband injured his knee at the very beginning of the trip and they were great help with wheelchair assistance and helping him onto the train on our departure day. Concierge Marie Antoinette Mori and her staff. Not only did they help us departing from their hotel, they helped on our return to Tokyo even though we were booked then at a different hotel. Only disappointing thing was we booked with AmEx and supposed to have USD 100 dining/beverage credit. We thought it applied to all restaurants booked through the hotel but sadly mistaken there. There are only a couple venues to which it can be applied.

It’s not easy to find a boutique hotel in an historical building & yet providing services that are all World class . The hospitality was well manifested from concierge to the eateries !! From the pre-check in assistances in trip planning to the last seeing off service on the NEX train platform .. from the greeting in the Atrium breakfast to the petit 4 on the dining table .. everything is so well delivered.. thanks to the Concierge team / serving team of Atrium & Miyama san . Will definitely continue our annual visit to Tokyo .

This is a lovely hotel with amazing service. The bed linens were so nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. It was wonderful location being right at the Tokyo station and very central. We cannot wait to come back. Also we left our jackets in the closet and staff went above and beyond to get them to us at our next location. Cannot say enough about the experience here. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay.

Very nice hotel, great location, and wonderful concierge team. This is a Hilton related property, but you will not get Hilton points if you book on the hotel website - you would need to book through Hilton website to get Hilton points.

Beautiful hotel and perfect for our first night in Japan. Being met at the platform by the hotel staff was so good after travelling for so long and it was late. Room was a good size. The hotel is in a great location - close to the Imperial Palace
