The Tokyo Station Hotel operates in one of the world’s busiest railroad stations, but its grand hallways and rooms full of plush carpeting and chandeliers are rapturously silent. The hotel opened nearly a century ago and survived both the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II, one of the few buildings from that time period that remains. Cathedral ceilings, crown molding and heavy silk draperies give rooms a regal feel, and bathrooms are the size of a small Tokyo apartment. If the Marunouchi business district isn’t large enough to contain your wanderings, you’re in a good place: Train travel is clearly convenient.

Amazing hotel to stay right in the middle of Tokyo. Luxurious hotel with the best breakfast choice in a beautiful setting - what a way to start the day. The spa facility is a joy to spend some time in for relaxing and refreshing. Top service on all fronts that haven’t seen elsewhere. A definite must experience!

The hotel is super conveniently located at the train station. They offer service to pick you up from the railway track when you take Narita express. For any other train you can forget it. We checked in rather late 2200 after our flight. Flying from Europe we were looking forward to get a quick check in and quick dinner. Well: check in was long. And restaurants were all closed. Also room service stopped at 2200… asking hotel staff for advice they looked a bit puzzled. So in the end we just decided to go to the old favorite McDonalds… The hotel itself charges for everything. We were with 5, but they didn’t put down an extra bed: extra charge. We asked for a 2 hour later check out: 200 euro… etc etc. Whilst staff is friendly, we can only say we were underwhelmed of price vs quality. Appx 1500 euro for one night and two rooms and no service seems a bit odd. Therefore for this price probably some other 5 star hotel offers better service and quality. Only thing you can not beat is the location.

What a wonderful hotel! It's luxurious, historic, well-located, incredibly quiet and comfortable, and with the greatest concierge service ever. The staff are uniformly helpful and gracious. There are many on-site restaurants to choose from should you not want to venture out. We enjoyed a breakfast one morning in the "open to the public" ground floor restaurant--delicious. On our last day a staff member took us to the platform for our shinkasen train trip--above and beyond (and so helpful--Tokyo Station is confusing and huge!). We loved how central the hotel was, and made great use of all the local transit.

We have always used this hotel since our travels to Japan. Its location is ideal for connectivity and its service and comfort are of the highest order. Highly recommended for business or family visits. It’s also child friendly. Choose it the next time you visit Japan

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Conveniently located with quick access to the train and subway lines. A bit of a maze to learn your way around but that was part of its charm. Ate at several of the hotel affiliated restaurants and they were good as well although, as one would expect, a little pricey. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
