SoHo Metropolitan Hotel

Even some weeks before we arrived, the Soho Hotel Concierge service could not do enough for us by providing information, advice ond organising airport transfers and a day trip to Niagara Falls. The hotel was ideally situated about 10-15 min walk from Union Station, if arriving from the airport by the UP train service; 10 min walk from the CN Tower and Aquarium and 15-20 min walk to the waterfront on Lake Ontario. As we were staying for one week we chose to stay in one of the Soho Hotel's residence suites. Check-in was through hotel reception and we received a lovely welcome from both Reception Staff and Concierge on our arrival. In fact, all hotel staff we met, including house keeping, greeted us with a friendly smile and welcome. The suite itself was spacious, clean and provided all the amenities we needed from a Microwave, Hob & Oven, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Tumble Drier. The Gym, Swimming Pool and Spa, situated in the hotel, could be accessed through a connecting lift. We didn't utilise the hotel bar & restaurant but both looked inviting. The only minor negative aspect for us was the limited changing room/shower facilities, which we had to share with the gym, when using the swimming pool. Overall, a lovely week, which was made even better by the 'can do' attitude of the friendly staff.

big and gorgeous room. spacious bathroom. bed is very comfortable as were pillows. very convienent to everything as well. very quiet. i would for sure stay there again. thanks for a great stay.

Amazing stay, this hotel is my go-to place when visiting Toronto. The room is very comfortable, it has floor heating in the bathroom and a pretty well equiped gym, the best I've ever encountered in a hotel.

Stayed here for two nights in late September on a business trip. Loved everything about this hotel - the huge room, comfortable bed, expansive bathroom (with heated floors!), unbeatable location. The staff were universally wonderful. SoHo will be my new go-to hotel in Toronto. (The box of delicious macaroons left in the room may have influenced my opinion just a little bit!)

The cost of this room was outrageous!! This room normally costs $350 per night and they charged us four (4) times that because the TIFF was on. To top it off they still charged us $45 per day for parking. We have stayed at the Soho several times in the past and never paid anywhere near this price. Gouging and taking advantage of your customers is not the way to improve your customer relations! We wont be back!
