We spent three nights at the Yorkville Royal Sonesta and will 100% be back. 24/7 Green P municipal parking was the cleanest we have seen and attached to the hotel lobby (much cheaper than hotel parking and just as convenient). We found the hotel, and our room, to be modern and very clean. Our room was surprisingly large and silent - despite being next to busy subway station. The St George Subway station (a block away) brings you to any of the top Toronto landmarks within 20 min by subway or street car. Within a min walk from the hotel you can be at a Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Circle K for any last minute needs snacks or necessities. The room came with a stocked fridge, but not an empty one. We requested one from front desk and it was delivered immediately. Staff we friendly and helpful for any questions and requests.

If you’re from Western Europe don’t be fooled by the reviews here! Service at check in is suboptimal and poor No security around for leaving luggage - generally feels unsafe 4pm check in (so if you’re staying for a night, for 11am check out you’re paying for 19 hours!) Many better options in the area

The hotel is located in a very prime location where you can find lots of shopping places and the best restaurants and bars around in a few minutes walk. The hotel is very modern with a very unique style. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated with comfortable bed and wide seating area and an office desk. The bathroom is huge as well and very clean with all needed amenities. Mini fridge filled with different stuff. Ironing kit and more. They have an indoor swimming pool with a gym, Sauna and Steam room. I will definitely stay there again during my next trip to Toronto in August.

The location is excellent, and the building is attractive. It is right across from the ROM. I also enjoyed the fitness studio. But the dry sauna in the men's change room was broken. For a hotel of this price, they should be able to keep their amenities functioning!

Ok hotel for business. Spacious rooms compared to the US hotels we had come from, good ammenities and close to downtown. Only let down by the useless lady at the front desk (should have got her name as she clearly needs to be retrained). Our agent had unfortunately and unbeknown to us booked directly through Booking.com and did not check each of our itineraries before sending them to us. Our bad for not checking prior to departure. One of our party was booked for one less night than the rest of us. When we pointed out the error to the front desk they told us the hotel was booked out and the best they could to was put an extra bed into one of our other rooms for the last night. I checked online and there was availability so not sure what the problem was. Had to contact the agent back home and luckily a room miraculously was available by the last night.
