I spent one night in this hotel and l can say that this hotel is one of the best that l've ever been. It was so clean, bathroom was magnificient. Big clean room with balcony, everythin was beautiful. Breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, dolce... there was everything. I give 5 stars to this hotel

We spent a delightful few days in this hotel in early May. Our room, overlooking the harbour, was spacious and well furnished. The elegant public rooms have been carefully and successfully restored. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the concierge, and the manager responded well very effectively when there was a slight problem with another guest. We hope to return and would certainly recommend this hotel to others. The facilities are more 5 star that 4.

We had only one night here as we were travelling on to the Istrian peninsular but it was a comfortable stay with good food. The location of this hotel is excellent and close to all major sites, Grand canal etc. The historic hotel reflects the grand era and heyday of Trieste but has been kept well up to date . Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant of an evening and although there seemed few guests partaking we had a delicious meal with very good service plus their restaurant overlooks the sea which is really lovely. As time was limited we visited the famous main square, grand ( small) canal which are delightfully lit up at night. Also we went to the Revolltera Mansion which was really very interesting. It is a merchants house which amply reflects the wealth of Trieste in the 19th century. He helped finance the Suez Canal but also built many important facilities for the people of this lovely city which he obviously loved.

We stayed here last year for our anniversary and returned in April 2017 to stay for two nights because we loved it so much! We had a suite overlooking the harbor. The room was beautiful and quiet. Room service was delicious! Wi-fi was fast and the TVs large. All the staff were so nice to us and made us feel special. We hope to return next year!

We had two nights here in a super room overlooking the port, with a terrace. Woke up early and went onto the terrace to see a cruise ship majestically steering straight towards me! Pleasant staff, lovely breakfast - a sense of well being soon creeps over you here. Felt more like five star than four.
