Reviews for Rosewood Bermuda

Great hotel, overrun by local club members on weekends.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We went for a long weekend and had a very mixed experience. The hotel, grounds, service and food were top notch as we expected. What we did not realize, however, was that the resort has local members who get access to the facilities for an annual rate equal to a few nights in the hotel. That meant the pool and beach were overrun on the weekend and the pool essentially turned into a children’s playground. It felt more like Disneyland than what we expect of a Rosewood. We would come back for the experience during the week, but sadly we can usually only travel around weekends.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I had a wonderful stay at the Rosewood. The doormen were so welcoming EVERY single time I walked in or out. They always said hello and had a smile. Absolutely great customer service. The server Linda was so kind and bubbly, and there was another server who was wonderful (can’t remember his name). The hotel room was very large and a beautiful balcony with a nice view. I left the doors open the entire time and enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful skys. There was a weird smell in the halls, but honestly everything was so great, it was nothing in comparison to all the great things. The location is also good, lots to do nearby. I came in the off season so it was very quiet and peaceful. I’d wonder if it’s like that year round, because I definitely want to come back in early June or early fall. I wish it was adults only, because the guests with kids did not watch the kids and they were running around naked and screaming at the pool. We stayed at the adult pool and were able to relax. Can’t wait to be back 💕

Beautiful

From the beautiful grounds to service to people, this hotel is luxury at its finest. Easy access to town, so many restaurants to choose from. I absolutely loved it. They went above and beyond since I was celebrating a birthday. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely paradise - 5 star in my book!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

This was truly a 5 star experience. The room was just as I pictured it - a lovely suite with a spacious bathroom and both tub and shower. The beds were sumptuous and soft. My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays together and were we treated like royalty. The staff goes above and beyond to attend to your every need. The food choices were excellent and we ate in both the bigger dining rooms during our stay. I can't say enough for this special place in Bermuda. I will return!

Underwhelmed. Expected more from a Rosewood

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

We were really surprised - Caribbean service standards at prices even higher than similar properties in Turks & Caicos (not known to be an inexpensive destination). Lovely room (801) though mattress sinks in middle. Concierges gave incorrect info (repeatedly) both in advance and on site; resulted in costly outcomes but worse were the wasted opportunities for a great time. Hotel seemed very quiet and yet staff seemed short handed or mis-deployed (and very particular Re whose job was whose. Eg cigarette butts and plastic glasses that sat on the Grand Staircase for days. ). Spa was booked for 3 days so couldn’t be spontaneous; tennis courts book up with local Club Members. Not sure if we would be returning to Bermuda in general (though wow that water is clear and blue!) but I would most likely want to explore an alternative esp since the real pink beaches are 40 minutes farther west (I’ve now learned).
