The room is very nice & has a patio & the upper floors have balconies. Ask for a view of the hills, the valley or city view is just an enormous massive sprawling city, not a good view, unless that's what you like! The employees are the greatest asset. The food is very good, but very expensive, I liked the club sandwich and the burger. For better selection & pricing take a short trip to the business area at the foot of the little hill, ask the bell desk for a ride & tip them, they are the best folks at the bell desk! Overall a great place, but certainly has very, very high price, but it has a lot of operational expense. Employees are the very solid backbone that makes it all work. P.S. the enormous bath tub is a novelty, makes a shower difficult, but is a trademark of the hotel!

We came down for a business dinner then stayed the night. Love the trails on the property and took some time to sit by the year round waterfall. Loved the two person tub and the fact there was enough hot water to fill it. Enjoyed a morning hike up Ventana Canyon Trail which you can walk to easily. Great comforter and pillows. One bed was soft but squeaky and the other was too firm. I would stay here again.

I recently had my wedding held at Loews Ventana Canyon and it was better than I could have ever imagined. The facilities at Ventana Canyon are absolutely beautiful. They have amazing banquet space and can accommodate large groups. The wedding guests absolutely loved the hiking trails, pool, spa and other amenities provided at the resort. The best part of the weekend was the service provided by the staff to not only the wedding party, but all of the hotel guests. The banquet coordinator went above an beyond ensuring that every request of ours was accommodated. The waiters at all of our events were so attentive. There was never a pause in service, they consistently asked if there was anything else they could provide for us. I want to especially highlight the server William Arce. He was absolutely fabulous. All of our guests were complimenting his amazing service. It was a truly special weekend and I would recommend anyone to have their wedding or other banquet event at this facility.

My wife and I found the resort to be very comfortable, casual, friendly, and top quality. I can't think of any negatives. The free shuttle to Sabino Canyon and nearby shops and restaurants was great. They may have had amongst their own restaurants the best we've seen in resorts. Beautiful short trails behind the resort, and off to the side a great trail that heads up into the mountains.

I stayed here during the Mayo Clinic conference. The facility is beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. One comment I have is that they put me in a room that was so far away from the lobby and the pool on the first night! It was scary to be out in the excluded area by myself. The staff eventually moved me closer the rest of the stay! Make sure that you ask for a room that is closer to the main part of the resort! The pool area could be a bit bigger but the view is breath taking. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Spa staff too was super nice and made you feel pampered!
