My husband and I stayed here in May 2013 and loved it. We thought why not come back? We loved it but...there were a few negatives this time. The good - - beautiful room and bathroom - beautiful grounds. Great pool, hiking, golf course - nice stores - very friendly staff - great workout room - great spa - good price - good for family meet ups and families with kids The bad - - our AC didn't seem really cool. Engineering checked it twice (thank you) but it never seemed really cool - the standard frig in the room doesnt get gold enough for food, per the front desk staff. They brought us a bigger one within 1/2 hour of checking in (thank you) and that one worked great. - Dog rant. (IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THIS MOVE ON PLEASE.) When did it become okay for everyone to bring their dogs to hotels? Large dogs, small dogs, multiple dogs. In the rooms, on the pool chairs, in the lobby. Yes, they pay a room cleaning fee - but is this why my sinuses were so bad on this trip?! All good, but we probably won't come back because of this. Wonderful hotel and highly recommend it - unless you have dog allergies.

I stayed at this resort for a conference. The grounds are very beautiful and serene. There are paths leading to a waterfall. The staff was very friendly and my room was up to date. The bed was very comfortable.

Just left our 3rd visit this yr. Staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Accommodations are comfortable, spotless and nice. Sunday brunch with live blues music was a treat! We always stay in the same room, mountain view and over the patio. We could sit on that patio staring at the mountains for hours ;) Can’t wait till our 4th visit!

an outstanding property, clean, excellent food. effective meeting rooms. Excellent but inobtrusive service. It integrate with the desert environment, down to the desert & waterfall nature trail in the hillside behind it.

The room is very nice & has a patio & the upper floors have balconies. Ask for a view of the hills, the valley or city view is just an enormous massive sprawling city, not a good view, unless that's what you like! The employees are the greatest asset. The food is very good, but very expensive, I liked the club sandwich and the burger. For better selection & pricing take a short trip to the business area at the foot of the little hill, ask the bell desk for a ride & tip them, they are the best folks at the bell desk! Overall a great place, but certainly has very, very high price, but it has a lot of operational expense. Employees are the very solid backbone that makes it all work. P.S. the enormous bath tub is a novelty, makes a shower difficult, but is a trademark of the hotel!
