While the hotel is pretty nice, especially considering the deal we got, we were very disappointed by the service in the bar and particularly the need to send our drink back twice and even on the third attempt it was hardly worth the effort. Nice to get a full price cocktail bill for our efforts for what amounted to vodka and ginger.

Waiters Pedro and William did a marvelous job ensuring we had everything during our visit. These two gentlemen were awesome! Had a small issue with the shower but engineering took care of it right away.

Given Tucson is a city built in the desert, Loews Ventana Canyon was built with a great deal of environmental consideration along with maximum coordination with the beautiful environment. The pool is worth a visit and the weekend brunch buffet is tasty.

I've heard of dog friendly hotels, but this hotel allowed a dog to be swimming in the pool filled with people. OK to do at your own home, but not in a "luxury" hotel pool. The pool was already cloudy, then a dog with his tennis ball, I don't think even the Holiday Inn would allow this.

Check in was a complete mess in an overbooked Hotel. No manager. I was given a key for a room with a person in it at midnight. All I received was perplexed looks from the staff who could not find or call a manager. Several people here same story no rooms. No other facility to overflow into. Out of luck. Only rooms available were the sitting rooms with pull out beds.
