Reviews for Omni Tucson National Resort

The Bait and Switch

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

After traveling almost annually with groups of 4-8 players to Omni Tucson National, I was disappointed this trip to learn that the "stay and play" package I thought I signed up for was not in fact the deal. Rather than have my over market room rate include golf, I was told greens fees were extra making the entire trip about $500 more than I anticipated. Rather than show any consideration for the mistake that was made, I was simply told to pay the bill. If the resort doesn't stand by their inside or outside representatives that sell the resort, they must not care about the consumer. Rather than provide some consolation to ease the pain they simply told me to pay the bill. I am glad I made this trip solo anticipating coming back later in March or April. After this experience, the group has now made plans to go to Pinehurst, NC, and if I am involved in the planning, we will never go back to OTN.

Very disappointed with service. We found a disgusting stain on our sheets. No one was available to help with bags or get valet keys. Multiple times waited an unreasonable amount of time to get our keys from the valet so we could go get our car ourselves because they were so poorly staffed.

The Best of Tucson

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are exquisite and perfectly manicured. The casita was spacious and adequate. The towels were some of the best I've had at a resort. The staff is especially well trained. They are very considerate and polite. I had only one problem. I'd asked for my sheets to be changed and they only pulled up the one and didn't even straighten the bottom one. Also, the mattress is in dire need of changing. Hotels should only be allowed to use a synthetic material that can't carry disease or odors. They should also be changed more frequently. It still remains the best place I've stayed when in Tucson.

Omni Tucson National Does Not Disappoint

Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Our casita was outstanding and made for a wonderful week of relaxation. I can't say enough good things about the Omni Tucson National.

Nice place, pool and hot tubs, views and golf

This was my second visit to this resort for an annual business meeting. The location is good. The meeting space is nice and the banquet food is superior to most - in contrast to many meals, the ones at the Omni were delicious. The guacamole served with breakfast was fabulous. Loved the heated pool and hot tub and it was never crowded. The guest rooms are huge - which I really appreciated while working there with my spouse for a week. I’m not a golfer but by husband and colleagues liked the course very much. The only things I didn’t like was this property is an Omni vs one the larger chains where I could accumulate night credits - but that’s a personal thing. Those with mobility issues will want to ensure an accessible room as most rooms have stairs to enter. Lovely spot with an amazing Mountain View.
