Reviews for Casa Malca

Amazing hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Casa Malca is an absolutely magical hotel! The food is exquisite, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the rooms are top-notch. The pool is stunning, and being right on the beach is unbeatable. Plus, it's conveniently close to the town with fantastic restaurants, stores, and bars. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Outstanding people, top notch service, and delicious food in a beautiful setting

We had the best time at Casa Malca and were treated exceptionally well by Corrado and Juan. They taught us quite a lot and we got a good understanding of the works of mezcal. We went on the art tour. Which was also spectacular. Dinner here was beautiful and amazing. Try the chicken mole! So good. Stop by and see Corrado and Juan who both really were gracious and kind. And fun! Meeting them and learning from them was definitely a highlight of our trip.

very nice hotel

We loved the hotel but you are paying for it. The staff are superb and the rooms are excellent. We felt the food could be better and was overpriced. Overall it was nice but Tulum in general is changing. It's no longer the sleepy hippy beach town. It's full of Americans, loud music and overpriced restaurants.

Wonderful service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I never take the time to write reviews….literally on anything. But today I needed to rave about my server/beach attendant Clemente. His service is impeccable as well as his bedside manner. You can tell he likes his job because he is always smiling and taking the time to get to know you. We talked about our kids and he joked around with my husband. I never had to look for him to order drinks or food and any questions I had were answered confidently. Please ask for him if you vacation here. You’ll see for yourself!

Great property with some issues

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Several issues not handled well by staff. Great property and rooms, quite artsy. Service issues were not resolved well. Safe didn't work, one coffee cup in the room dirty, nothing for anniversary trio. Rooms are fantastic, further down the road so quite private. Spa very pricey. Great beach.
