Great service

Josue Lima was FANTASTIC at the pool yesterday. He took excellent care of us and made sure we had a drink in hand at all times. Definitely looking forward to seeing him out there today too. Also, Allen was excellent on the bike tour. Very informative and he was helpful and patient and took photos for us too.

Wonderful Birthday Trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I visited the gorgeous hotel for a combination birthday/Mother’s Day trip. First things first, it’s a bit of a drive from the airport but definitely worth it. We booked a Ceiba club room and appreciated the dedicated check in area and the lounge. Our room was spotless and comfortable albeit a bit cold. We never could figure out how to adjust the temperature to our preferences. The design of this hotel is spectacular. The pool was lovely and everything seemed well thought out. The staff was stellar from the bellhops, and landscapers to the bartenders and wait staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We only stayed for three nights and tried two of the restaurants, Autor and the Mediterranean spot. Both were great but Autor was our favorite. Breakfast in the restaurant every morning was also a highlight. Don’t miss out on the Mexican food section. The chilaquiles were delicious. One con is that there was a lot of seaweed at the beach so it wasn’t really useable. They tried their best to clean it up, but you can’t fight nature. The pools made up for it though. I wish we could have stayed longer but I will definitely be back.

Perfect Stay in Paradise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This hotel was wonderful, just all around terrific. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, from the moment you arrive you're surrounded by beauty. The room was great, quite large and well appointed. The bed was terrific, but be warned, it is very bouncy. My husband and I had to switch to a room with two queens, so if your partner moves around alot, I would recommend just booking yourself a two-queen room. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The pools were all lovely. Beach was nice too. We were very impressed with the food. We really enjoyed Autor and Kengai. The tasting menu at Autor was incredible! We had lunch at one of the Chiringuitos each day and we really enjoyed the authentic and local Mexican food they offered. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet. One thing of note, the buffet is no longer free for golds/diamonds. You can pick off of a cold menu or upgrade to the buffet. The upgrade is well worth it (250MXN per person) but this is a change. The spa is also worth a visit. It's absolutely beautiful and built into the jungle, just an amazingly calming place. Overall, this was a splendid stay. I wouldn't change a thing and I look forward to returning some day.

Beautiful property with GREAT service!

Gorgeous new modern property that’s very clean with touches of Tulum and really nice pools and great beach. Our favorite restaurants were maratea and autor. The standout was the incredibly friendly service we got that made our stay so special. Giovanni, Mauricio, and one other lady I forgot her name were incredibly sweet and kind servers for the fantastic breakfast. Tons of good fruit and salad and other warm options. Jose and Abraham at Maratea, Daniel at Ukai, Jessica and ultra Mar, Jesus at autor and Jorge, Miguel, and Josias at the beach. All made our stay so special and they had great energy and were so nice and friendly and helpful. The breeze at this property during our stay was AMAZING. Very few mosquitoes in only got one bite and wore shorts everywhere (we went early May) and the breeze by the ocean laying there is so nice. Rooms very clean. The only suggestion I had was that they wouldn’t let us into the teens area to play air hockey and pool - I recommend having an adults room then with maybe pool table or ping pong and it would be perfect. We will be back!

Not Family Friendly

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Beautiful hotel, but customer service is terrible and it's not stroller or handicap friendly (you have to carry the stroller up and down a lot of stairs). It's also a bit far from the action. If you are a family and want to stay in the area, the Hilton next door is better, but I'd recommend staying closer to Tulum.
