I stayed at The Somerset in September 2017 for an early birthday vacation. Sadly, my trip was cut short due to the Hurricane, but I had the most amazing time at this resort. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of and kept abreast of the changing weather patterns. They even assisted guests in scheduling earlier flights to avoid the hurricane. The grounds were immaculate and our condo was HUGE, clean and beautifully decorated. We were supposed to have one of the residences but were upgraded (for free) to a pool view first-floor condo, which was stunning! I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay in Grace Bay. Skip the other resorts and stay here.

We just returned home from an 8-night stay at the Somerset and I want to go right back! This small boutique hotel is truly a gem. It has the BEST location on Grace Bay beach, central to everything. It's small and peaceful and never felt crowded. We stayed in the Stirling Building, room 203, and it was just perfect. We had a fantastic view of the pool and ocean right from out balcony. The room was HUGE (~ 1500 square feet) with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, 1.5 bathrooms, large bedroom with comfortable king-size platform bed and plenty of space for clothes, and plenty of well-located outlets (sometimes a problem when traveling). The reception staff was warm and welcoming. Rum punch on arrival! We were personally escorted to our room and shown all it had to offer. They provide laundry detergent, too! Molton Brown toiletries and fluffy feather pillows added to the comfort. We had 2 balconies (small one in back that provided great views of the sunrise) and a large one that faced the pool and ocean with 2 chaise lounges and a table for dining). Coffee, tea, and a gallon of drinking water were provided. Did I mention that the kitchen is a FULL kitchen with all stainless appliances?!? The beach staff, especially Reco, were great. They kept an eye on our stuff when we went swimming or for a walk. I left my iPhone in my beach bag, along with my room key, and walked 30 minutes down to Coral Gardens to snorkel for 45 minutes, then a 30 minute walk back, and my stuff was safe the entire time. Reco helped us take out the Hobie Cat (sailing lession!) and gave us a quick lesson on how to do stand-up paddle boarding. Plenty of fresh towels as well as whatever SPF sunscreen you might need. They have drink and lunch service right on the beach! You can't charge anything to your room, need to pay with a credit card. Housekeeping was efficient and thorough. The only downside of our stay was the service at breakfast. Full American breakfast is included with the room and it was decent...fresh fruit and pastries are great, the coffee is good but the service was VERY uneven and disorganized. Some of the staff were quick and efficient but others seemed to struggle. Everyone was very nice but multi-tasking did not seem to be a strong suit. That being said, it was the only flaw in an otherwise perfect stay. I definitely will stay at the Somerset again when I return to Providenciales.

We love kitesurfing and Long Bay is our favorite. We decided to try Somerset and our experience was really impressive. We will continue to kitesurf at T&C and will only stay at Somerset. The property, service and accommodations were excellent, We have a two year old and she constantly went from pool to sand to ocean to shower and back to the pool. It was amazing. One of the best parts of our experience was Adrian at the front desk. I hit him up for questions at least ten times a day. My two year old daughter fell in love with him. Adrian and I continue to text on a weekly basis. We also loved Sharon who ran the kids club. She loved Sydney and Sydney still talks about her.

Our stay at the Somerset was great, I can't say enough about the staff. Adrain at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, even though we weren't traveling with children Sharon was there to help with whatever we needed. By the second day Margarita knew what we liked to drink for breakfast and the drinks appeared before we asked. The room was beautiful and comfortable, everything we needed was there and the view was perfect. Reco, Colin and Jodesti went out of their way to make our beach and pool experience the best!!!! Can't wait to spend more time at The Somerset!

We just returned from a 5 day stay at The Somerset on Grace Bay and all I can say is THANK YOU for an amazing vacation! The service is SUPERB! The people are genuinely nice, we felt at home. The resort is beyond beautiful, the villas are very spacious, comfortable and modern. The beach is BEAUTIFUL! But to us, what differentiates The Somerset from every other resort we have visited is the people. AMAZING, top notch service from every person we met. We had a very warm welcome from Billy meeting us at the airport and Berry at reception, setting the tone for vacation with a delicious rum punch. Upon interacting with Berry and Billy, we knew we had come to the right place! Everyone was great, giving us tips on places to go and things to do. Special thank yous to so many wonderful people we met: At reception: Berry, Billy, Adrian, Winston and Derrio. Sharon at the Kids Club was just wonderful, and our 9 year old loved spending time with her. Last but not least, the pool and beach staff: Louis, Reeco, Quincy, Collins and Tevin, all of you helped make our vacation wonderful. The pool and beach staff are so attentive and helpful, anticipating your needs and always ready to help with a smile. Thank you!! We can't wait to return!
