What an ammmazing hospitality… am short of words … served with smile and the level of details shared about the brand and property is commendable!! I was looking forward to dining at Sheesh Mahal at The Leela Palace Udaipur and contacted the hotel regarding a dinner reservation for 24th or 25th August. I called three days ago and was told that reservations needed to be made a week in advance. However, I was contacted today and informed that Sheesh Mahal was completely sold out and that a reservation could only be accommodated if I were a resident guest at the hotel. What disappointed me most was that I had clearly mentioned that I was travelling to Udaipur specifically for dinner at Sheesh Mahal. If I had been informed about the resident-guest requirement during my initial enquiry, I could have planned differently. I understand that restaurants can be fully booked, but the communication and handling of the situation were not what I expected from a luxury property like The Leela. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and finds a way to address such situations more appropriately.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the delicious food and beautiful ambience to the warm and attentive staff. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcomed throughout our stay. The hospitality was exceptional, and every little detail made our experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great food, a lovely atmosphere, and genuinely caring service!

Our family of 3 stayed for 7 nights in late July and it was one of the most perfect stays we have experienced. The service levels was consistently exceptional & Prachi who led the guest experiences team was always available and always checking on us and our needs. We also had Vishal as our personal butler through the stay - again unfailingly polite and attentive to our needs. We were a little anxious that we might get bored being in the same place over 7 days especially with the food - but the restaurant has an extensive menu and the chef keeps conjuring up new dishes and also willing to cook something which might not be there on the menu and food quality was consistently good irrespective of the type of cuisine. The restaurant staff (particularly Sanjay) got to know our taste and preferences over the days and would invariably add a complementary dish or two without us asking for it. The property is impeccably maintained and the evenings with the entire grounds lit by lamps and live Indian classical musicians playing in the background makes for a magical late evenings and perfect end to the day. We will definitely be visiting once again.

Coming to The Leela while in Udaipur was one of the best decisions we made. From the beautiful boat entry to the cultural program and the royal palace tour, every experience was truly memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the entire team made it even more special. A special thanks to Riddhi, Gurjot, and Yash for their exceptional hospitality and genuine care. They truly made our visit unforgettable.
