The warm welcome we received set the tone for the entire experience. The views are absolutely breathtaking, making every moment feel luxurious. The food was exceptional, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. A special mention to Mr. Tejveer Singh Rathore from the butler’s team, who was truly outstanding. His attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. He was always available to assist us with a smile, ensuring that every little detail was taken care of. Everything about this hotel is top notch from the ambiance to the hospitality. It was an unforgettable experience, and we cannot wait to visit again.

I arrived with a serious hand injury, and the bleeding was quite severe. One of your team members yograaj immediately stepped in with remarkable calmness, kindness, and confidence. What initially seemed minor turned out to be a deep cut, yet he handled it with great care and patience, successfully controlling the bleeding even before the doctor’s arrival. The doctor later appreciated the quality of the initial care provided. What touched me the most was that throughout this entire situation, I felt completely safe, reassured, and genuinely cared for. I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay. The level of service provided was exceptional, and every detail was handled with great care and professionalism. What stood out the most was the humble and guest-centric nature of the staff Especially Prachi &Tejveer,They were always courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. Their warm hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel valued and welcomed throughout my visit. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team of that prioritizes guest satisfaction so sincerely. Our experience with The Leela Palace Udaipur has been extremely disappointing. During the initial visit, the team was very welcoming. They offered complimentary food, showcased the property in detail, and frequently called us to highlight the benefits of hosting our event there. However, the attitude changed significantly once payments began. After paying 25% advance, there was a delay of just 4–5 days for the next installment because we wanted to meet the chef and finalize the menu. Instead of supporting this request, the management refused to arrange the meeting. Despite this, we cleared 2 days buyout property 100% of the event payment nearly 30 days before the event date, well within the agreement timeline. Our major concern now is that many additional requirements and charges are being introduced which were never discussed during the initial meetings or included in the agreement. For almost every operational aspect, new costs are being demanded. It gives the impression that the hotel is trying to increase the overall event budget through multiple additional charges, which creates unnecessary stress for the host. Unfortunately, even after receiving the full payment, several issues continued: • Demand for additional 10% security charges after full payment • Delay in providing proper payment invoices • Refusal to introduce the chef and finalize the menu • Verbal agreements regarding minor room adjustments for pre-event and post-event days were not honored after the payment was completed Organizing a large family event involves careful planning and coordination. Instead of receiving support, the communication from the management has felt unnecessarily difficult and stressful. During the booking stage, multiple representatives from the property and their Mumbai office were calling frequently and discussing every detail. However, after receiving 100% of the payment, the level of cooperation changed noticeably. The property itself is beautiful, but our experience with the management has been very disappointing. My advice to anyone planning an event here: make sure every commitment is clearly documented before making any payment. If these issues are not resolved appropriately after the event, we may consider pursuing the matter through appropriate legal channels.

This beautiful Leela Palace is in a gorgeous location on an island with water views. There is a non-stop boat travelling between the mainland and the hotel, takes 10 mins and is very pretty and peaceful. The hotel is really luxurious, with every amenity, spacipus room, a great pool and staff who are so receptive and kind. Udaipur is a beautiful city and this is a lovely high end place to stay.
