Gaze over the stunning rock formations of Soganli Valley then take a tour of the marvelous underground cities of Kaymakli, Tatlarin, and Deinkuyu, built to protect the original settlers from the might of Rome. Wander through the Goreme Open Air Museum where more than 30 churches and chapels, beginning in the 10th century and adorned with ancient frescoes, were carved from the rock. In the afternoon mountain bike or ride horseback through the valleys, then take in the view from high above on a magical sunset hot air balloon ride. After a day spent exploring the ancient lands of Anatolia, return to Sacred House for a delightful medieval dinner featuring Mediterranean and Armenian cuisine before retiring to the deep comforts of your room.

Reviews for Sacred House
I’ve wanted to book a room here first but they only have 21 rooms!!!It was already booked!! But we visited and we have only Amazing words to say about!!! Amazing place , and room, and a piece of art !!! We see one room and it was fabulous!!! And they have a great library of very old books!! Thanks for taking us in your amazing world !!
We did Cappadocia slow travel way, taking our time and enjoying the place. Sacred House was our final pitstop. What better place to truly rest and relax. We stayed in Deep Forest and loved our lovely nook. All the rooms are ornate and beautifully decorated, with plush, comfy beds. The hotel is stunning, it’s been renovated to be a thing of beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed the basement pool, swimming in it every day. The library was out of this world, a gorgeous place to hang out with a glass of wine on a rainy day. The hanging staircase is something I want in my home. But the best part of Sacred House is its people. They went the extra mile with a smile -always. Truly lovely, lovely people and a wonderful asset to this wonderful hotel. The food was fantastic - we had breakfast and Armenian dishes for dinner and are still oohing about them. The service at all times was impeccable. I just wish I had more time to try out the hammam and massages. And, Mystique, I’m sorry that I didn’t share my cake with you, but I was told you were on a special diet. I’ll be back with something diet-friendly - maybe a new squeaky toy? We’ll be back - and hopefully will get to stay in The King’s Ego.

Soon I was there for a vacation with several friends. And it was amazing to be there. I m sure that you ll be feel yourself medievel era. All the inspired and sophisticated interior details are impacted me . Absolutely recommend to All.. by the way I would like to Express my special thanks to all staff, particularly to Mr. Volkan and his warm hospitality...
We stayed at Sacred House for almost a week in their Bacchus room and we loved every single moment. The room was spacy and comfy and the bathroom (tub) was really cool. The whole hotel has this positive and happy energy and it's filled with artefacts from the 10th century onward. The library is full of first edition books where you are free to read and just touch- which was super cool. They have Dante's Inferno and a lot of William Blake's. Back to the hotel though- the staff is exceptional. We especially want to mention Fatma Hanim, who was the most gracious host. The breakfast is quite good and the chef accommodated us with our odd requests so our experience was very customized. The hotel pet- a lovely golden retriever called Mystique- is the cutest little dog who follows guests around for food (but she's on a special diet now :). We stopped by the hotel to celebrate my birthday week and both the hotel and the staff made it an unforgettable 29th birthday for me. Me and my boyfriend loved every moment. Lastly, the spa is AMAZING. Go, relax, have a good time. Reccommended 5/5.
Sacred House is amazing---over the top in every way--but it works. The staff can't do enough for you, they are truly kind hearted people. The food was fantastic. The rooms are ornate, full of original art, beautiful carpets, the bathrooms are huge and unusual, the beds are super comfortable. We were there in June and my only complaint is no air conditioning---we are spoiled Americans. There was a heatwave across the continent and we had trouble sleeping in the heat. They were able to put a fan in one room, and it was a big help, but for this reason, I will stay again in other seasons, but not summer. I travel the world and Sacred House is just a fantastic experience and I look forward to staying there again.
