If you want to experience living in a rainforest surrounded by nature, this is your place! Great hikes, great photos, great service. The food was excellent. The staff was the best. This was my second trip to Rancho Pacifico and it couldn't have been better. I stayed in one of the "treehouse" accommodations, and it put us right in the middle of the nature experience we were craving. The treehouse was very private and nicely appointed. This was my honeymoon trip and my wife was truly amazed by the lush vegetation and excellent service. A very romantic place.

I've only been back a couple of weeks and already I want to plan my next trip! We had an amazing time at this spectacular retreat, which was made even more special by the thoughtful and friendly staff. The food was out of this world as was the view. Every experience here was top notch. I can't recommend this getaway highly enough.

This was my second time at the resort in uvita and it was even better than the first. The service, food, spa was 5 star all the way. It is an adventure to get there but the views on top of the mountain are to die for. You will not be disappointed at all.

I've been home a week and am missing RP like crazy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We did yoga, hiked, swam, got massages, lounged, played games, ate and drank. The food was phenomenal. Scenery can't be beat. I sincerely hope I get to go again.

Rancho Pacifico is a jewel overlooking the Pacific perched high above the "whale's tail" beach. It is not easy to get to. But the journey is so worth it! We arrived after dark and a long drive in the rain to see Salome (the concierge) waiting for us in the driveway holding an umbrella over her head along with two umbrellas for us. It was a movie-like dream. The staff does a great job of getting to know the guests. And they do a great job of sharing a bit of themselves. Whether it was Anna who seems proud of working there for 9 years or Vianney and his love for metal music or Alex and his knowledge of all things culinary. I can't think of a single thing I'd change. Well, maybe I'd make the last kilometer a little less steep. Of course it would feel less dramatic arriving then!
